'Enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, modern and looked like the listing. Everything was in working order. Had everything we needed for 3 night stay. Host was always responsive. The location was great for us to explore different areas outside of Reykjavík. '

The sauna and tub were spectacular, got some amazing aurora views while relaxing in both. The neighborhood was great, with multiple stores like Bónus just a few minutes away. 'The check in process was fine. The location is terrible in the winter and we lost a whole day of sightseeing because we were snowed in. We had no assistance to get plowed out despite our request for help. The bunk bed had broken slats and we couldn't use it so someone had to sleep on the couch. We asked for a refund because we ended up leaving after two nights due to the location and no assistance. We were told no. The property listing said there was a hot tub when we booked it and there wasn't...

'For consideration the third bed room is a loft room overlooking the living area. The living room has sheer curtains for the floor to ceiling windows which are excellent for the view but does not provide any light dimming darkness. We traveled with 2 teens so was not a problem for us with the 22 hours of daylight.'
