Quiet neighborhood and we even saw the northern lights from the back patio! Would not hesitate to book again!'

'This house was great for three couples. Three bedrooms. One big full bathroom with another bathroom with a toilet, which was perfect to have. Kitchen was equipped plus the outdoor grill. There were a few spices so when we cooked we didn’t have to purchase. The hot tub is excellent way to end the night. As far as location, we loved the private space being outside of town. There looked like there was a vegetable stand around the corner but we didn’t end up needing to stop. We did two day trips...

'This was our first trip to Iceland and this property was our first lodging out of four. Stayed two nights and everything was as close to perfect as it could be. After our trip, everyone in my party agreed that this unit was the nicest place we stayed at! The hosts are nearby and attentive to any needs you may have. We would definitely stay here again if we get the opportunity to do so.'

'The Historical House was in an ideal location and provided plenty of space to enjoy togetherness. The property manager was very quick with helpful responses. One of our daughters picked up pastries nearby every morning that we enjoyed together over the large sharing table. The kids enjoyed small sleeping areas and it was just a very comfortable situation allowing day trips to Golden Circle and The Blue Lagoon. Delightful dinners were shared nearby each evening. I would highly recommend this VRBO'

'Photos can not capture the beautiful scenery at the villa. You are surrounded by nature and the view of the Northern Lights surrounds the area when they are dancing. Our teens, young adults, middle-aged, and senior family members were all able to enjoy the spacious layout. Travel to local sights is easy and worth it in order to be in the tranquil quiet by the lake. I highly recommend staying here. The owners are wonderful hosts.'

'Great location! You can get on the highway quickly and getting to the centre is no problem. Lots of room for everyone. Not at all flexible on check-in/check-out times, which was stressful as we were a group of people with different flight times, but overall, it was a good place to stay.'

'Excellent accommodation in the golden circle area. The cottages are clean, very large in comparison to other places we've stayed at in Iceland, comfortable and modern. The beds were good, the shower was lovely, and we could cook our own meals. We enjoyed the view from the cottage on the surrounding area. We certainly recommend this place.'
