Blokhutten in Island Park

'Arrived late after 7:30 pm (we had messaged them to let them know we would be late). Room was to be ready by 4:00 pm and at 7:30ish, It was not. It was still in the state left by the previous occupants. Not at all ready for us and there was not a cleaning crew on site. Also this room #3 and it was to have a hot tub and there was none. It would have all been okay but they did not have another room to put us in so we had to drive another 62 miles to Rexburg where a room was available at a hotel....

'The lodge provides a nice cottage. It is spacious, clean and cozy. It provides a fridge and a small kitchen. The WiFi is somewhat poor, but it is free. There is no air conditioning. Parking is not an issue. Due to stairs it is difficult accessible for some people. The cottage is a bit close to the road and therefore has some noises. The West entrance of Yellowstone is only 30 minutes. At 8pm the reception closes. Some instructions were send by email to call them if you cannot make it in time....

'Perfect Getaway on the borderline to Yellowstone NP.Everything worked fine. And we had a couple of nice days in and out Yellowstone NP.'

'Cabin was very clean. Felt like home for the 5 nights we were there. Kids loved having the 3 beds upstairs and the little play room. It got down to the 30’s at night in the end of September. We had to keep the heaters on to keep the cabin at 70. We were able to check in early. Down a dead end road. Road is rough yes but it is also a private road. '

'This home was perfect for our needs. Very clean and plenty of space and beds for everyone. If I had to say one thing it would be with check in at 4:00 and check out at 10:00 the next day we didn’t have much time there to enjoy the hot tub . Would have like a earlier check in or check out time.'
