  • Mijn charmante huis werd geselecteerd voor de 2012 Historische woning tour! Het werd ook gekenmerkt in een twee pagina spreiding in de Indy Star! U zult genieten van mijn plaats want het is een originele bungalow / huisje dat Broad Ripple bekend om staat. Het werd voltooid vóór het begin van de Tweede Wereldoorlog en nog steeds veel van zijn prachtige en originele elementen. Wanneer u mijn huis nadert, zal je de lieveling cottage-stijl huis ingesloten door volwassen landschap en de gezellige veranda, omgeven door een witte paaltjes hek te zien.

    Als je binnenkomt, wordt u begroet door de oorspronkelijke Indiana kalksteen open haard, originele hardhout, hergebruikt origineel keukenkasten, zoet eetkamer, complete badkamer met zijn originele tegels en twee grote grootte slaapkamers. Ik heb geprobeerd om de integriteit van het oorspronkelijke huis te behouden; alleen het toevoegen van mijn artistiek tintje!

    Ik wil mijn beneden roepen een eigen bed and breakfast! Dit is een zeldzame schat in Broad Ripple! De ingang van de ruimte is rechts af van de keuken. Als je loopt de trap af, zult u getroost worden met een ruime familiekamer, compleet met een open haard en een op maat gebouwde bar gemaakt door ondergetekende. De grote slaapkamer heeft gloednieuwe tapijt, een prachtige handgemaakte houten muur en Smart TV. De half bad en een wasruimte zijn aangesloten voor uw gemak. U vindt er alle voorzieningen die u nodig hebt van een mini-koelkast, bar spoelbak, magnetron en een koffiezetapparaat hebben.

    Mijn favoriete onderdeel van mijn huis is wat ik noem, 'The Sanctuary'. U vindt de ultieme binnenplaats ervaring recht in mijn prive-achtertuin te vinden. Het gaat allemaal over ontspanning en schoonheid, verzorgd met prachtige en kleurrijke landschap! Het heeft een met de hand vervaardigde vreedzame fontein ingebed in een stonewall structuur, een luxe vuurplaats gepaard met 6 comfortabele stoelen. Deze ruimte bevat ook een al fresco buiten dineren ruimte onder een ingewikkeld gebouwd en aandachtig verlichte pergola. Aangrenzende, zijn vier opknoping mand schommels geschorst voor uw ultieme ontspanning ervaring.

    Mijn huis is gelegen in een van de meest hip en happening culturele wijken van Indianapolis, de Broad Ripple Village. Het is een eclectische wijk met bekroonde onafhankelijke restaurants, boutique-stijl winkels, kindvriendelijke parken, leuke uitgaansgelegenheden en een steenworp afstand van het Monon Trail, een 18 mijl parcours populair om te wandelen en fietsen.

    Mijn huis is prachtig voor iedereen; gezin met kinderen, zakenreizigers en groepen!

Carly has created the perfect venue for a get away in Indy. The bungalow has been lovingly restored and decorated with great care. The “sanctuary” is an outside area that is perfect for one, or for a group. Her communications, personal touches responsiveness are second to none! You will LOVE staying here

You will not find a better place to rent than this beautiful home. - Beautiful neighborhood- Great access to dozens of excellent restaurants- Super comfy beds- Delicious tap water - Gorgeous yard and backyard to hang out inBut more than anything you just cannot improve upon this host. The host is communicative, kind, engaged, and helpful. She knows her area well and is invaluable for local info. She also makes a point to get to know her regulars and goes out of her way to take care of people based on their preferences. I rent a lot of places (5 annually) and I have never met her equal.

A wonderful experience. The host Carly is amazing. Loved the personal note and treats she left at check in. The house is so charmingly decorated. The backyard is magical and relaxing our family loved the swings. Perfect location to dining and activities. We would stay again if we are back in Indy.

Having used to live in Broad Ripple, staying here felt like coming home. Carly goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. The house is comfortable, clean, and has more amenities than you can list. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Bungalow

Carly was a fantastic host! She was very responsive and kind. She checked in on us throughout our stay and made sure we felt comfortable. The house was very tastefully decorated. The bedrooms were very comfortable between the bedding and pillows. We loved having the outdoor area to hangout and eat our meals. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect holiday host

From the moment we booked, the host was warm and welcoming! The lovely property felt like home away from home for our family Thanksgiving celebration. The host spoiled us with treats and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay! I would definitely stay here again! Fabulous time in Broad Ripple!

We had a great time staying at this property! It was a super convenient location for us to get to Butler to see our son and to get to Broad Ripple's fantastic shops and restaurants. Carly's place is beautiful, clean and had everything we needed! She was very attentive and available if we needed anything and even left us some AMAZING popcorn and other treats! I would highly recommend staying here! She made it so easy.

Cozy and welcoming

This was our second stay at this lovely home. Carly is so welcoming and easy to communicate with. We all love spending time outdoors in the egg chairs. It is nice to be able to walk down the street to the park playground. The home is clean and comfortable. Our whole family enjoyed our stay.

Weekend getaway

Perfect

We were in town for the Indy 500. Everything was as described. The charm of the home is just delightful. Our family was very comfortable. The home owner went above and beyond. She included small toiletries and welcomed us with amazing popcorn made locally and wine. The beds were very comfortable and the backyard was like a getaway. No bugs except butterflies.

Butler Graduation Weekend

Carly is an amazing host and has created the perfect vacation get away! Her house is charming and immaculate The front porch and back patio are perfect for hanging out with a cup of coffee or a cocktail. We had breakfast on the back patio and then dessert around the fire. Carly is an excellent communicator. She checked in daily and was available for questions at all times. The neighborhood is quiet but close to Broadripple. Carly added little touches to welcome our family and our graduate. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect Butler Graduation Weekend!

This property provided the perfect backdrop to celebrate my daughter's graduation weekend. Every detail is accounted for making for a charming and cozy retreat. From personalized welcome gifts and directions for use of tvs, fireplace, etc., to the comfortable beds (with water bottles placed on the side stands) and the lovely outdoor space, Carly has created an oasis. She also checked in via text to make sure we had everything we needed, and was prompt to confirm any question we had. I highly recommend this property. We will use it again ourselves when back in Indy. Thank you, Carly!

Swifties in Broad Ripple

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful property! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the design and decor—every detail felt thoughtfully curated, making it such a visually stunning and comfortable space. The house was even better than the photos, with gorgeous furnishings, cozy spots to relax, and everything we needed for an unforgettable stay. We were in town for the Taylor Swift concert, and the owner went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. She left personalized touches and little surprises that made the whole weekend feel magical. It was clear she truly cared about making our stay memorable. If you’re looking for a stylish, welcoming place with a fantastic host, this is it. We can’t wait to come back and experience it all over again. Highly recommend!

Very well maintained and cute property. We enjoyed the outdoor space with the tv, grill, picnic table and chair swings. The front porch was also a nice place to sit. The beds are comfortable and the water pressure in the bathrooms is great. The location is a quiet neighborhood that we found convenient to get to any location in Indianapolis. We were there to attend a Fever game and it was quite easy to get to Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Carly (the hostess) is so very nice and quick to answer questions and offer suggestions. You should definitely have breakfast at Mama’s and enjoy the many breweries in the area. We had a great stay and all agreed we would come back. The listing does say there is a hot tub but we didn’t see one - that is the only thing I found inaccurate. All told, 10/10 stay!

Teen granddaughter’s fall break visit to Indianapolis

My family and I were in town to visit some friends of our teenage granddaughter. We had the good fortune to select this charming cottage home in the Broad Ripple neighborhood of Indianapolis. It was so very cozy and welcoming. This home has a beautifully decorated backyard for relaxing. It also has an entertainment room in the basement with a large tv and bar. The kids had a great time playing card games down stairs while it rained. Our gracious host, Carly provided snacks and soft drinks for our teen and her friends. Carly was very communicative and responsive to all our questions and concerns. We would definitely like to stay here on our next visit.

Adorable House

Came for our 6th Gen Con and this was the best VRBO we've had in 6 years. Carly does an amazing job on every angle. The house was straight up magical. Great beds, really good water pressure, solid tables (could use one more! I am a board gamer though most people would be ultra pleased.) The neighborhood is cozy, the kind of place that coming of age movies were filmed in the 90s. Its also close to literally dozens of places to eat. We ate at 317 Burger and Flatwater at Carly's recommendation and they were incredible. I hope none of you book this place before me next year because if I have my way my crew will stay here every year for Gen Con. Truly a special owner and an excellent property.
