Hostels in West-India

'Reception staff are absolutely fantastic. Facilities were fine, location is walkable to Anjuna, and even Baga beach if you fancy a stroll. However Wi-Fi in rooms very intermittent and the duvets should have washable covers for hygiene. Bar was not open but eatery and beer shop right next to the hostel. Not the hippy part of Anjuna, you need to go towards the German Bakery if you want that type of vibe. More Indian holiday makers than international travellers. But I did have a very enjoyable...

'Spent 5 nights in Hotel Midland. Female traveler (35) traveling alone... Felt completely safe in this hotel! The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The food is good and the rooms are clean and comfortable compaired to Mumbai -hotels. The area is a bit crowded and noisy but you almost forget when you step into the hotel. Near Santa Cruz Station and cabs or autorikshaws in the same street. Khar-Badra area and airport are easy to reach (max 15 mins). South Mumbai takes more traveltime...

'Each time am in Mumbai am staying for a few days in Mantra Hostel and the moment am reaching it after the long journey I have the feeling of being "back home". The staff are excellent: kind, helpful, patient. Rooms are very clean as well as beds and bathrooms. The very location is cool as well, offering a quick access to the airport, train stations or long distance bus stops. Also, the travellers who choose Mantra are mostly very friendly, inspiring and energetic, it is easy to make friends here...

'Nice, calm and quiet place, with great area around, for chillig and relaxing. Also has inside nice places to sit and rest, great view. Staff is very welcome, one of the best places to stay in North Goa, definitely recomend this place for solo tourists! '
