This beachfront condo is part of a private, gated complex with an underground secure garage and 2 parking spaces, plus an elevator. The Beach Club is located on the beach, with no busy street or boardwalk separating you from the beach. It features its own heated shower to rinse off after the beach, a heated pool, and a Jacuzzi hot tub area with plenty of lounge chairs. Barbecue area featuring several gas grills and tables, perfect for enjoying a fresh catch or steak in the spacious garden courtyard. This resort-style courtyard is a lifesaver for your vacation! Although the weather is great in San Diego, if a day/afternoon gets cool/windy, you will be grateful you chose our property!!!

About the Unit:
This condo is a second-floor unit that offers you a beautiful direct view of the ocean, park, pier, and picturesque Coronado Islands. Sleeps up to six people. Two bedrooms, two full baths, both with showers and tubs. The master has a king bed, the second room has a queen and twin, the front room has an "L" shape couch and a high-quality queen air bed (Preferred by past guests over a fold-out bed!). You'll relax to the soothing sound of the Pacific Ocean waves and fresh ocean air. Open concept kitchen/living room, all with a view of the beach and Pacific Ocean! Modest private ocean view balcony.

About the Area:
Beach town with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Stroll on the beach, head south or north, as the beach is long for those looking for a private romantic scene. Walk out on the fishing pier and eat breakfast/lunch. Excellent fishing, swimming/surfing! Watch or participate! A 10-minute drive affords you easy access to the famous Island of Coronado and its golf course. 20 minutes to get to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, Sea World, San Diego Embarcadero, Seaport Village, and Downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. World-class dining/eateries, Urban Wineries, Craft Breweries await you!

Harold is the BEST host! They have thought of everything for you! Beach supplies, toiletries and kitchen essentials. Great communication. The pictures really don’t do this condo justice! I even slept out on the couch one night listening to the waves. Only bummer was the beach was closed due to contamination from the Tijuana river. Was able to at least enjoy the shoreline for really cool seashells.

I'll start by saying these hosts are great. They take their job seriously. They personally communicated to us before, during and after the stay. The communications were not automated or routed through other management. Nataliya met us on arrival to welcome us, walk us through the different entries and keys, and ensure everything was to our liking. She checked in with us during the stay to ensure all was well.The interior of the condo was in great shape, mostly renovated, and very spacious and comfortable. The views of the beach and ocean are stunning, and it was well stocked with towels, sheets and pillows. It's very handy to have a washer and dryer in the unit, and they worked perfectly. The kitchen has lots of counter space an a nice island with seating. There are TVs in the living area, as well as both bedrooms.The sheets were in great condition, but I found them hot since they are made from polyester. I acknowledge I tend to overheat regardless of the fabric.I would describe the beach front neighborhood as very casual and largely quiet. Housing a couple of blocks away reads working class. There is a public park next door, and the condo overlooks it, so in addition to the beautiful beach and ocean view, you also have a view of local young people playing basketball and transient folks passing through. The exterior of the building on the ocean side is showing some wear, while the interior courtyard with grills, pool and hot tub is very well maintained.

The host were incredibly communicative, thoughtful and organized. Our stay was wonderful and the accommodations were wonderful. We were so grateful for the covered underground safe parking garage and love being right near the beach. The only downside for us was the weather, but there was nothing that host could’ve done to fix that ha ha.

The condo is amazing. The views are amazing. The location is beyond ideal. We will definately stay here again. This was our first trip to San Diego and we will be coming back to this location from now on. The room was immaculate, the pool and hot tub were great to use after sight seeing. The local coffee shops and food places are all really great too. The secured parking was a bonus and you cant beat the view! Thank you again for an amazing vacation!

So, this is, the 7th VRBO we've stayed in, the others were in different states and a few in San Diego. The Condo was exceptionally clean and updated, the owner showed up as we were unpacking, she was friendly and pleasant. Everything we needed was there, we always bring some of our own things, pillows, paper towel, etc... but we would not have had to. The view is priceless; it is ocean front, perfect short walk from the garage to watch the sunset! the garage spot was perfect for my hubby's truck. We walked everywhere except to the Lemon Festival, which was a short 10-minute drive. The Condo looks just like the picture, there's a microwave on the counter the one above the stove does not work but was not a problem. The bed was comfortable, we didn't use the guest room beds, but they were made up very nicely for guests. The owner checked on us a few times which was nice! We enjoyed our stay!!

Parts of the building were under construction. The pool and hot tub were not available to us. None of this was disclosed until we checked in. The owners were extremely responsive and brought in two dressers as there were none in either bedroom. The owners did offer a key to the pool at their other location, which we never used. The interior of the unit was beautiful and clean.We have stayed in different units at this property many times since 2007. We most likely will not return.

The apt was very clean. We were very disappointed that we could not enjoy the ocean due to closures. The owners had no control over this which was understandable. I asked them before we arrived if the ocean was closed and they said yes. So with that being said I knew we at least had the pool. When we arrived the pool and jacuzzi were drained and under construction. Very misleading considering there were beautiful pics of the pool advertised. When asked the owner said he didn’t realize the pool was not available and he was on vacation. My children were very disappointed they had no where to swim. Also the TV in the master bedroom didn’t work and he told me to watch the one in the living room.

IB Vacation

My family of 5 (wife and I, plus two 15 year olds and a 14 year old) had a wonderful time at this beach front condo. We were celebrating a few milestones in our family. Me turning 50, twins about to turn 16, and an anniversary to boot. We are not wealthy world travelers, so this was a very special time/opportunity for us that didn't disappoint. The location is very conducive to many tourist attractions. Thursday-(arrival date) smooth check in and scoped out the lay of the land after going to Grocery Outlet for supplies. We strolled the pier and my son thoroughly enjoyed playing basketball on the beach side court with some locals while taking the time to watch the sun set over the Pacific. My daughters enjoyed the outdoors fitness area and volleyball on the beach.Friday-enjoyed a short jaunt over to Coronado. Hotel del Coronado's craftsmanship is awesome and the beaches there truly sparkle. Enjoyed New York style pizza from Luigi's in IB(San Diego location featured on Triple D).Saturday - toured the USS Midway and dined in the Gaslamp district before taking in a Padres game at the very cool Petco Park.Sunday - shopped Las Americas Premier OutletsMonday - SeaWorld Highlight of the trip, even over the excursions, was listening to/viewing the ocean waves crashing while enjoying morning coffee and evening wine on balcony Fell asleep at night on couch a few times listening to the waves break. Nothing better, imo anyways. Host were very accommodating. *Check ocean conditions

Excellent Condo with a great view

We should have stayed for a week or more. Far from the hustle and pretensions of the city and even little Coronado, Imperial Beach is quaint, had everything we needed within a mile, and we relaxed easily. The Beach is gorgeous, but not swimmable at the time. The po was cool and clear, and the hot tub was great for our aches & pains. We really enjoyed the full kitchen and large couch. Great water pressure in the shower!

Lovely stay

My 91yo mother and I came to celebrate my birthday, visit he sister and bury a dear friend so an emotional trip. The condo was perfect. Well furnished and equipped and very comfortable. Fabulous views. Convenient location. Lovely pool area. Would not have known parts of the building were under construction if I hadn’t been told - never heard a thing. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. I would stay here again - highly recommend.

Beautiful View

My husband and I had a wonderful mini vacation over Thanksgiving break. The view from the balcony was absolutely wonderful. You can enjoy your cup of coffee while walking on the beach. You are just steps away. The condo is very spacious. The beds are very comfortable. The owners are quick to respond with any questions. You will have a lovely time in this condo. We plan on visiting again.
