'Our bottom floor condo had all of the amenities we needed and more! The closets were stocked with gear for fishing, paddling, snorkeling, etc. Large outside barbeque with pool and chairs made us like we didn't miss out an anything if we just stayed at the condo. We cooked at least one meal a day at the condo which is close to a private-like park at the end of the street. This was perfect for our needs and the value was amazing. This was our most memorable stay in Hawaii and we will be back!'

'Great, quiet, peaceful location for anyone looking to dive with one of the operators out of Ma’alaea! The host Diane was incredibly understanding and nice when I got sick on my trip and had to extend my stay. Expedia made the extension difficult, but she worked with me to figure it out.'

'You can’t beat the location of this unit (top floor). Breathtakingly beautiful view of the ocean just a few paces from the water. Gorgeous sunsets, calming waves, lots of fish and spinning dolphins and other creatures of the sea. We’ve been to Kona Bali Kai twice now, and we’re coming back!'

A Safeway grocery & Longs pharmacy are a quick drive & had what we needed. We appreciated the washer/dryer, too. Especially since we only wanted to pack carry on bags for the 9 day trip. 'We were rarely there except to sleep but the apartment has everything we needed. It’s walking distance to the harbor and ocean center. The beach is literally steps outside. The owner was very quickly responsive to our questions.'

'The door code we were given wasn’t correct, so we had to use the phone at the reception to call the after hours number (this was just after 4pm, so check in time, strange that check in time is not within normal office hours).
