'The house was very clean and almost perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the showers were good. There is a beautiful private beach included just a short walk away and all of the beach paraphernalia that you could need. There were a few idiosyncrasies to this house. 'Our stay at this property on Sanibel Island was mixed. There were a few positives - the beds were decent, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen had the basics to cook meals. The TV setup was fine too.However, there were several serious issues that made the stay disappointing. The biggest concern was that a rat was living in the only grill, making it completely unusable (in addition to not having any gas) and raising sanitation concerns. 'Enjoyed our stay. Perfect sized cottage for the two of us. Wish the bathroom had a shelf for cosmetic bags and dop kits, but we managed. Liked the beach access and parking pass even though it was a long walk from the parking lot to the beach. Communication with the owners was very was good. No dishwasher, no laundry facilities, no hair dryer but towels and beach chairs (too low for us old folks) were provided. Umbrella would have been nice. 'This was a cute little cottage close to the beach. Wonderful lighthouse restaurant next door. Bikes were conveniently available for use.'
