« Accueil chaleureux, site superbe, calme, construction rustique originale. Pour 3 nuits passée, je me suis souvenue de mes rêves de chaque nuit, ce qui est rare. Ce qui me semble t'il, est gage d'un habitat sain. ( pollution électromagnétique faible) Par contre un appareil pour les quelques sandflies (raquette ou autre), ou moustiquaire à une fenêtre au moins aurait été appréciée. »

« This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. We plan to come back again :) »

« The location of the property was beautiful. Gorgeous views of the lakes and mountains. Walking distance to the beach and played golf. The property is spacious, very tidy and well presented. Lovely deck at the back. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back again! »

« Perfect location for our overnight stay. My ex farmer parents loved the peace and outlook onto farm land. Protea Cottage is beautifully set up, great coffee, super clean and comfy! Heat pump was on which made for a cozy evening. Many thanks for the ease of access and great communication. An 11/10 from my Dad! »

« Everything was so clean and so nicely organised and Leroy even had snacks prepared for us as a welcome. The ambience was amazing and everyone was mesmerised by the house. Leroy was also very quick with communication and made use feel so welcome. »
