'This was an amazing lodge to stay while we travelled around Tongariro National Park. The owners are very friendly and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. 'We loved our stay at Arcadia Lodge. Greg & Peter were amazing hosts. The room was extremely clean & comfortable, with a beautiful view. The breakfasts were so delicious every morning & prepared superbly by Peter & delivered expertly by Greg.The house is old, but so well maintained & beautifully furnished. Just so much character. An easy walk in to town & the beach. We truly hope we are able visit again!'

'I would recommend this property to anyone coming to Wellington! The location cannot be beat! The snacks in the room are such a nice touch! The rooms are incredibly spacious! Love having a separate shower and toilet! Easy to use entertainment! The bar at the hotel is great! The sparkling or flat water is such a small but appreciated detail on every floor! We were on the second floor and were honoured to see Viago daily. So many great dining, shopping or cultural options within walking distance!...
