'SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NO STAY HERE! We had 2 back-to-back separate reservations at this Hotel. First night we arrived to a disgusting room - broken blind and hole in the wall. Front staff agreed that the room was not suitable and reimbursed us for this night. We had to find a different hotel for the rest of our stay last minute despite having a different reservation for the next night. 'The unit itself is large and comfortable, with full kitchen and upgraded bathrooms. The location on Old Montreal is perfect. The host is responsive. However, we had a leak in the living room the first night during heavy rain, and the elevator had recurring issues. There were also ants in the kitchen and living room areas, coming from the baseboards and in between the floor panels. 'Fabulous offering for this price level. Large suite-like rooms with full kitchenette and large bed and bathrooms. Lovely pool with outside terrace, great for hot summer days; large and useful laundry room too. Location can't be beaten, 5-10 minutes walk from Gare Central (train and metro). The one big minus, costing them a full star in the rating, is the breakfast. Included in the rate is no excuse for them of delivering a continental-minus level. 'The hotel had an excellent location, within walking distance of most sights in the Old City and of the Metro. One issue is that it is on a street closed to vehicles, requiring guests to carry their bags from one of the cross streets. This also makes it difficult to call a taxi, The room was clean and spacious, and the air conditioning made it very comfortable. The washer and dryer were very useful.
