Chalets in Mount Desert Island

'The location was alright. The room was outdated. The bathroom had rust on the heating unit. The cleaning lady did a nice job with what she had to work with. There seem to have a problem with the septic system for the flush didn’t always flush good.When the room was booked it said the pool would be open for the season 2026. When we arrived for a long weekend for July 4th the pool was closed and stayed closed until the last afternoon we were there. It was in the 90’s every day. The air...

'It was really nice and super clean. We are family of 3 and visited Maine for 4 days and ir was super convenient. Everything was clean and nice and we relly enjoyed our stay.'

'Cobwebs in the door frame. Smelled mold and floor seemed damp. Also there was a creepy shed in the back of the property with light on all night. Frosted panel on bathroom window was half on. Also still had the medal tissue holder that was rusted still in the bathroom from the 70-80’s. I also felt the wall were way too thin. Could hear neighbors at 7:00 am the day I wanted to sleep in. I would not stay there again.'

'Small clean room. Overpriced but you are paying for location and supply. Very quiet. Comfortable bed. We walked maybe 5-7 minutes to all the shops/restaurants. Nice pool. 15 minute drive to Arcadia. Would stay again.'

'Our stay was adequate. Although the room smelled clean when we arrived, there was a musty smell every time the HVAC was running. Our breakfast experience wasn't good, they ran out of oats, bagels and some other food items during breakfast time and never replaced them for the next day. We will unfortunately not go back to this Best Western again.'

'We stayed in the motel portion. The location is convenient and our room was ok, but the bathroom had a sliding door with no locking mechanism, which is quite ridiculous when there is a family staying in the room. When I emailed the property twice about this, both emails were ignored. Similarly, I messaged them with a request for "late" checkout (11 am, since their checkout is a ridiculously early 10 am), I received no response.'

'Great covered parking specially for solo or motorcycle travellers. Rooms was nicely decorated bed extremely confortable and breakfast was good ( a bit tooo fancy for me) Only downside, bottom floor room some.face the street and curtains cant be opened.'
