'We hebben een prima verblijf in dit huis gehad. Alle kamers waren netjes verzorgd en in de keuken ook alles voldoende aanwezig. Grote tuin achter het huis en ook een ruime parkeerplaats voor het huis.Het huis ligt op loopafstand van winkels en restaurants. Al is het terug naar huis wel een flinke klim. Kan dit huis goed aanbevelen voor gezin of vriendengroep.'

'Our stay here was absolutely amazing. The space itself was beautiful with everything you could need. Extremely clean with comfy beds. Our favorite thing about our stay was lighting a fire each night in the living room and getting to watch the sun go down over the water. '

'Wonderful setting, beautiful views. Not near grocery so come well stocked. Lovely coffee yurt a couple miles down the road. The house was as-advertised and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only hiccup was that we never received check-in instructions or an access code despite leaving emails and a voicemail 2 days in advance…so we drove 4 hours to a locked house on a weekend. Thankfully someone picked up when we called from the house and gave us the access code. I’m sure this was not a typical...

'The cottage is very quaint. There was a little confusion over laundry facilities as the description said there was a dryer but in actuality there wasn’t. However the owner quickly responded when we messaged her. The farmer next door is a delight to chat with. He’s a lifelong resident and he shared a lot of stories about growing up there. It was also fun walking down to the water and finding treasures down at the shore. '

'An absolutely gorgeous view of the ocean. The tide goes out and we walked on the beach with the most amazing clouds and colors. The house was spotless and the host very responsive. The location is way more beautiful and striking than the pics show. If you want a home that is off the beaten path and surrounded by great beauty this is for you. '

"Dit hotel is te duur voor wat het biedt. Ons diner was zeer matig. Een heel klein stukje vlees en een berg aardappelpuree voor ca 30 euro vond ik erg tegenvallen. "

"The pod is very nice, clean and has a lovely view. Very near to Portree and all the restaurants, shops, etc. A perfect location to start exploring the island from. Breakfast is great (a cute tray with yoghurt, croissant, fruits for every table and on top of that you can order warm food from the menu) The people working there are very friendly. Unfortunately they are short of staff and you notice that. Breakfast takes a bit longer than usual, the restaurant was shut on one of the days we stayed there and the lounge/bar was closed during our stay. Luckily there is a pizza guy (Pizza in the Skye) just down the hill that makes terrific pizza’s to take and eat in the pod with some Netflix on or to sit out and watch the stars if the weather is good. Would recommend this stay for the location, view, cosiness, etc. but price is quite high. Though I must add prices are sky high on Skye everywhere.."
