'Hame Hotel is in Dunvegan, so it's a bit out of the way from Portree (where most people stay). That turned out to be a blessing - our area was quiet, free from traffic, and still convenient to many sights like the Fairy Pools, Talisker Distillery, Dunvegan Castle, and the Three Chimneys restaurant. 'Beautiful location halfway between Portree and Uig, perfect for exploring the Trotternish peninsula. The premises are spotless and in excellent condition. The hosts were very accommodating and personable. Breakfast was delicious. Note: if you do not have a car, transportation could be tricky. Nearest restaurants are 20 minutes away by vehicle. Would stay again. Highly recommend Loch Eyre House!'
