Herbergen in Isla Tortuga

'Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Close to the ferry to/from Puntarenas. Located in a hill ensuring great views. Welcome to the hotel was very friendly. We arrived early but that was not a problem at all. Personnel in general ok but not all very friendly. New to us in Costa Rica where we find hotelstaff in general very kind. Hotel meals in the evening are ok and also good prized. The room was nice and spacious. Not all was clean though incl a dark stain in a sheet. Nice pool with beds. Our checkout...

'Buen servicio en el restaurante lo de más ma so menos'

'Wonderful place and lovely host. Their bioluminescence tour with Luis was amazing! Bed is comfortable. Be aware that there is no AC and it is 80 degrees at night. They have a great set up, fans pointed at the beds. Highly recommend this proprty!'

'Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Vor allem die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und spricht sogar Deutsch. Einziges Manko ist, dass in der Beschreibung für uns nicht gleich klar war, dass es sich bei den günstigeren Zimmern um ein Gemeinschaftsbad handelt, da explizit das Bad als Ausstattung der Wohneinheit angegeben ist. Aufgrund der täglichen Reinigung war das jedoch nicht so dramatisch.'

'I didnt like the dayguests, who only came for the food and alcohol, very loud and some were drunk'

'Dome was very musty smelling with mold on lampshade, debris on bed and carpet/floor and no water pressure. Host was notified water had run out and mold/must and showed up to offer us to move to other dome. Once moved, the skylight in the larger 2 king bed dome had leaked and bed was soaking wet and standing water on the floor. Skylight was falling out of ceiling. TV remote was not in living room space. Clear window on dome was so dirty could not even see out of them. Would not recommend staying...

'Magnifique dôme et emplacement près de la plage. Très agréable!'

'We traveled in October. It was an amazing view and experience to be in the middle of nature. Saw monkeys right from the beautiful deck. So natural and peaceful. Amazing It sleep 5 however it’s one room, a dome house. We thought it was 2 bedroom from description. It’s luxury camping. Just amazing. Beautiful beach. Tree top views. NEED 4x4 to get to this specific dome house. WILL GO AGAIN. Super happy.'

'The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. There is no in room coffee maker (provided at...

'We enjoyed the overall experience. We wish we would have had more time at the biodome. It was pretty cool but I feel there are a few things that could have been addressed. The entryway door was extremely difficult to open and close. My wife and kids couldn't even use it. It was as if either the door was swollen from moisture or just off angle. I guess that could be a really big deal. The whole place did have a musty smell, I'm assuming the humidity doesn't help. The giant window would...

'Accueil chaleureux, gîte impeccable, calme . Au lever du jour vous pouvez prendre votre petit déjeuner dehors en admirant perroquets et autres oiseaux superbes ! Je recommande !'
