"First, I have to say that Darren is really quick and very easy to communicate with. Both before and during holiday. He is also really helpful in advising stuff about holiday. Second, Michelle who is the local contact is phenomenal and again, so very helpful. Both go above and beyond to me. Apartment may need a bit of updating decor wise but with 3 lovely double bedrooms, fantastic views and brilliant location - it truly is somewhere we would stay again. Jose’s El Tucan villa seemed to fit with our needs and, indeed, it was excellent. From the villa it’s easy by car to reach everywhere on the island but there’s a bus stop 300m away and a small supermarket the same distance. Communication with Jose was superb at all times, he met us at the villa and explained everything to us and had left loads of really useful...

"Very spacious property with a fantastic pool and outdoor space. Full range of International Satellite TV channels went down well. The kitchen was very well equipped. Character in abundance with a truly stunning entrance and lounge area. 25 to 30 minute walk to centre and beaches which suited us well as we love to walk and a very quiet and relaxing time in the villa. Pram hire for our 4 year old did prove essential. Villa manager was very quick to respond to minor maintenance issues."

"The ideal property if after a day exploring you want to get back to peace and calm - to enjoy a drink and maybe a swim or just to lie back and sunbathe. The house is well equipped with great outdoor area. A car is essential and although set just above Tias everywhere is very accessible. There is so much to see and do you can choose whatever you want. The roads are good. A lovely villa but it is set away for the main resorts - great for families."

Contact with locaL agent allowed a cleaning team to arrive next day, but no property alternative was suggested, and a sleepless night in sundry bits of possible clean bedding followed. the cleaners arived we departed to allow them to work on the property, upon our return found that shoes were missing, scooped up by the cleaners, local agent chased but never found. "Great villa and great location.. Having a shallow pool for my grandson was brilliant and such a nice touch. Communication with both the owner and Ted who manages the villa was faultless. It was good to see that there was lots of condiments and left over stuff in the cupboard (olive oil/pasta/spices/flour etc as the majority of villas throw everything away..) Good to have a pool table although the pockets are a tad on the small side. Was amazed to find a basket with sun creams in that people...

"Instructions to enter Villa were clear. It was clean with towels & tea towels & a pleasant little basket of goodies. All kitchen equipment you will need. Microwave, coffee machine & washing machine (if required). Books & DVD’s. Comfy bed with decent bedding. Good quality outside patio seating with much needed umbrella. Wi-fi was easy to connect to. One very small gripe, could do with a further mid size towel per person. Overall, very happy 😊"
