Blokhutten in Assateague Island

'This was our 3rd stay. Convenient, quiet, clean. Hope to be back again!'

'The beds were comfy. The dining are is well designed and the waffles were yummy. You do need to get to breakfast early. The pool was fun. Having a fridge and microwave is very convenient. The location is great. Parking was simple. The staff were attentive and friendly. The pool area would be next level with the addition of a few palm plants. Overall we were happy with our stay.'

'Room was ok. For the price and location I was ok with the room itself. The bathroom had no mirror, no where to hang towels and no toilet paper holder. The towels were laying on top of the toilet with the toilet paper. The fan had no cover on it and was filthy. The bathroom door still had paint tape around door knob and door would not shut. We had to pay for parking which I was not aware of before getting there. I reviewed my booking and it was not on there. Like I said, for the location it was...

'The room was clean and parking was great. We had a great view of the beach from our balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was an issue with them being short-staffed during our stay so we had difficulty securing bedding for the pull out couch as well as enough towels and wash cloths for our large party. 'Everything was absolutely amazing except for the gentleman who I guess was supposed to be the lifeguard. Who sat there with sunglasses on all black shirt and all black jeans and constantly made my children feel uncomfortable because every little thing they did, he kept on saying something to them, so I pulled up the person who was in charge and spoke to him about it. because I am not going to let my children do something they shouldn’t do but every time they got in the pool or even went near the...

'Clean and comfortable room, smaller room but that wasn’t a surprise, no towels at the pool and smaller selection for breakfast. Good place for a short stay while visiting Ocean City!'
