'We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that! Try to book the seaview rooms, those are stunning.. i tried rooms on both sides… for sure the ones with seaview were the best. I slept with the doors open and closed. Even though I am a light sleeper… did not hear noices from outside, wich keep me awake… at all. The...

'Great view and great room'

'Kamer ziet er prima uit. Dakterras is vergaan.

'I rated this a 3 star because out of 4 days, 2 days we were disturbed by loud construction work taking place on the villa beside mine. It was from morning until evening with hammering, sawing, drilling and talking by the workers. Also, we lost all our privacy as we could not draw our room curtains, and since our washroom was outdoors with no door, we had to be extremely careful. We were not forewarned about this disturbance and I was extremely annoyed. We paid good money for our over the water...

'For a very reasonable price the room was clean, odor free with good air con and hot water. A great deal and a very comfortable place to stay. This was probably the best budget hotel I’ve ever stayed at.'

'People are really friendly. Like the coloured swimming pool. When I go back,I will stay there again. Also nice breakfast which is included and free transport to airport. Highly recommend this place ! '

'We only stayed one night and it was the perfect place! Right off the Main Street with a roof top patio and amazing staff. They were so friendly and helpful, I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay at a reasonable price.'

'The place was really small, I didn't mind it but just know it's basically the bed and a small desk area. The fragrance in the towels and bed sheets made me sick, really strong but then again I don't use scented laundry detergents at home. The free drink was horrible, really sugary wish I could have substituted it went to waste. I like that the bed was comfortable which is important to me when I'm traveling. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I chose a room with a window it would have...

'Unfortunately, the reviews mentioning that the accommodations are run-down are accurate. I stayed in one of the rooms in the main hotel-style building, and it was disappointing. The room didn’t feel very clean, there were squished bugs and unidentified marks on the walls, and it had a strange smell. I can’t speak for the individual cottages, which may be nicer, but I wouldn’t recommend the main building in its current condition. The location is beautiful, with gorgeous beach views....
