Staff was kind and friendly, facilities were a little dated and the lighting inside the room needs updating, pure white light is not the most pleasant, however the traditional Japanese bedroom experience was very cool! Breakfast was also awesome! That alone made this experience super cool!'

'Went hiking on the Nakasendo Trail. Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, as it is one of the closest and best hotels in the vicinity. Overall, it was a good experience. Staff were courteous, as usual, with the Japanese hospitality. The room is clean, but a bit tired. Could do with a renovation. Buffet is good, a wide spread of food and drinks, and the quality is good. Service staff are friendly and extremely hardworking. Except you get the same Breakfast and Dinner menu every day.
