Visit the extraordinary ossuary in the crypt of St Leonard’s Church, 1 mile, where you can see one of the largest collections of human skulls and bones in Britain, or head to beautiful Brockhill Country Park, where there are waymarked trails and picnic areas. Hop on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway to Dungeness or explore attractions including Folkstone, Dover Castle, (12.5 miles), Canterbury Cathedral (17 miles), and the White Cliffs of Dover and Samphire Hoe (13.5 miles).
