'Het was oke'

'I enjoyed the proximity to the beach. I paid for an ocean view in a 2 queen bed suite with a living room. I liked the room, but the sliding doors were very hard to move. Also, the view could’ve been better. We were on the 4th floor and the closest to the elevator. I paid extra for an ocean view and I wasn’t too happy with the view.'

'This was our third time at Pasea. Nice atmosphere. Great location in Huntington Beach. However they charged us wrongly. Customer services promised us that this would be resolved appropriately. After a number of calls and e-mails no one is responding and we never got the money back. So I don’t think we will stay at Pasea again unfortunately. '

'Steps away from the pier, beach and shopping. The room was super cute, spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking was very simple and that was my biggest worry booking a hotel by the beach. We parked in the meter parking at the beach to spend the day at the beach then checked in and quickly and easily moved the car to the hotel parking right after check in, which had valet, so easy! We are talking about booking this every summer from now on.'

'Way overrated...location is all it has going for it. Embassy Suites is better for a full service stay. They put us, who booked through Expedia, in a second floor room overlooking the parking lot lol...possibly the worst room they have, when it wasn't even crowded lol. When we went to check out they said the "system is down" and couldn't correctly check us out. A 3 star resort at best. Don't expect a 5 star experience.'

'Staff were super helpful but the room was dirty and had mold growing in the bathroom. you could tell the bed was pretty cheep and my partner has a bunch of red bites all over them. Still unsure if that was bed bugs or not. one positive is that the air conditioning worked great!'

'We enjoyed our stay, everything was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful, pool and hot tub a treat. Breakfast excellent and thanks to the nice staff member who made us our waffles. Definitely will stay again.'

'We checked in at 11:30 pm. The door to the lobby is locked and you have to talk through the door glass. They checked us in through a slot. We were not allowed to go in the lobby for check in or check out. Then they wanted a $50 deposit for in case we “caused damage” to the room. Really? We were going to bed and getting up and leaving at 7:30. Two 70 year olds without kids or dogs. I made a stink and he waived the fee but not without warning me THREE you better not mess with our room. So weird. '

'This property needs an entirely new management team. The hotel is poorly maintained, and every room is in serious need of renovation. This was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. The hotel does not enforce noise policies. Guests were running through the hallways and making excessive noise until 2:00 a.m., making it impossible to get a good night’s sleep.
