This is the worst VRBO experience we have had. Place looked fun son so I booked and reviews were good. However the host was completely unresponsive to the point that after many travel issues I had to call VRBO on day of arrival in order to get check in information. After which about an hour later I finally got gate and door code, which gate code did not work! Upon arrival we discovered we had to ask another resident how to find apartment. As we entered the apartment I realized how it was not clean; hard surface floors were sticky, carpet stains, disgusting shower curtains, tattered linens and rugs, holes in towels. Coffee maker did not work. The hide-a-bed is broke, so essentially the sofa is broken and my son hurt his hand attempting to pull it out. All I ever received from this host was how I would get charged for so many things and then asked to leave a good review since it was a new listing. After alerting him him that gate code was wrong I discovered that the host actually lived in the complex which leads me to believe that the host is not investing in the property and “clean” it themselves.
