Air conditioning was broken in our king suite and the hotel was booked solid but they gave us a standard double queen and bumped the reservation from a guest who hadn’t checked in yet (poor folks). When we got to the room, one of the beds had already been slept in but we had no other options so we slept in the other one. If you like a nice hot shower, let that dream die here, the water doesn’t get very hot and there’s not enough water pressure to even make it to the shower head. There is a $100 a night price difference between the room we paid for and the one we had to stay in so I’m still trying to get that back.
I forgot to mention that it was Spring Break. There was literally someone outside throwing up in the parking lot and a couple on the other side yelling at each other and pretty much everyone was half naked and it was only 7pm so kids were still coming through the lobby which is crappy.
I’m just surprised, I definitely wouldn’t expect this from a hotel like Hyatt Regency.
