« My family and I stayed at this wonderful cottage for an extended wedding trip. The lake was absolutely perfect! Our young kids (7 & 4) were able to walk out quite far with how shallow the lake is near the beach. They spent hours splashing around and paddling in the canoe. « My family and I just returned from our stay here. We loved the cleanliness and roominess of this place. My grandson had a tour at Michigan Tech and it was very close to Houghton. Most of our sightseeing was about an hour away, a few were a little further. I would have liked a notebook or some guidance about taking care of our sheets and towels. « we all went up to Republic to do a lot of sledding. Cabin did not disappoint. Sauna was wonderful after a day of sledding. Perfect spot to go out snowmobling in any direction. Would stay here again »
