Diamond Oasis is your home away from home and offers a quiet seclusive environment in a rich tropical setting. It includes an affordable luxury two bedroom/one bathroom apartment with a private pool located in an exclusive development in Holetown, St. James. Guests will find its air conditioned bedrooms, bathrooms with shower, bidet and WC more than acceptable and pleasing. The apartment has tastefully decorated living and dining rooms that comes with a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, hardwood floors throughout the apartment, and granite counter tops in the kitchen. In addition, there is a secluded garden with a gazebo overlooking the pool, where guests can sit and relax, dine outdoors, and enjoy the garden’s serenity; in some cases, guests may observe migratory monkeys as they meander through the garden. Diamond Oasis is best suited for guest seeking a retreat, the apartment is approximately fifteen minutes walk from world-class beaches, outstanding shopping, exquisite restaurants, famed local bars, and notable local activities.

This is a basic basement apartment and not luxury. The information on google about distances was false. The owners had no clarifying details on their website. We were unable to walk the distances and would have spent multiple dollars on taxis. Nothing was convenient. The one redeeming feature was we moved out and they refunded us.

Our stay was wonderful thanks to Ms. Barbara!!! She made us feel like family any and every question we had she provided solutions. Ms. Barbara being on site made all the difference; without her our stay would have not been the same. She was delightful in every way!!! We felt safe & secure in the neighborhood. There was a water issue in the neighborhood; she kept us abreast as to what was the status. The pool was lovely and we made good use of it. The walk to Holetown beach easy in daytime we took taxi at night as limited sidewalks. We had plenty of places to eat nearby although we cooked in the home; major store Massey's walkable, bus is $3.50BBD easy to navigate. Taxis are EXPENSIVE cost $13USD from Massey's (5 min drive) only used at night. Swan Street in Bridgetown had reasonable grocery shops/produce vendors. Overall great visit!!!

Excellent place and welcome Barbara made us feel very welcome and the location is amazing and the pool great. Perfect place to relax and visit Holetown and the west coast. It’s a nice walk down to the town which has some great restaurants and beaches. We really likes it up by Folkestone so walked there a few times to swim and snorkel.

Great location and beautiful private pool area

My wife and I just completed a great 10 night stay...most important features for us were the proximity to Holetown beach,restaurants and groceries, ten minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car, and the very beautiful and private pool area, exclusive to us during our stay. This basement apartment is spacious, a bit dim in the bedrooms, and perhaps best suited to two adults and children. The property manager Barbara is very helpful and responsive to communications. The neighbourhood is exceptionally quiet both day and night.Gary and Elizabeth

Holiday in paradise

We had the most blissful holiday staying at Diamond Oasis and can’t wait to hopefully return again next year! The apartment was clean and perfect for our family of three, the pool was a treat and the location was perfect for us. Barbara’s communication and hospitality was A and the welcome package of food was a real help and very thoughtful. Overall we would give Barbara’s hospitality and her beautiful accommodation a 10/10 review and would definitely return.

Nice quiet property short drive from everything holetown has to offer

We had a lovely stay. The property has 3 units and the garden apartment was setup in such a way that you felt like you had the place to yourself. The side gate is just for you. The pool is just for you. The lounge chairs are just for you. The side yard is just for you. Very well thought out. The hostess is above and the other guest unit is on the other side and we never noticed either! Quiet was the most important for us and we enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood and the house. There is AC in the bedrooms and was good. Parked the car just outside on the street. Spent most of our days at the pool or at the folkstone marine sanctuary 10min by car with plenty of parking. Apparently the unit gets a lot of repeat bookings and I can see why!

Fabulous hideaway a few hundred metrea from centre of Holetown

Lovely apartment with all that we needed for a 10 night stay. Barbara, the host, was kind and helpful to us throughout. Only two minutes drive to the centre of Holetown, with a wide variety of restaurants and shops to choose from. This is a perfect place for a couple or small family to stay, hghly recommended. We had an emergency at the end of our stay, after we had left, and Barbara was kindness itself in helping us resolve it. The pool and sunbathing area was well-used by us. The local braches were also marvellous.

Barbara war eine tolle Gastgeberin, wir hatten bei der Ankunft ein Grundnahrungsmittel Paket zur Begrüßung bekommen. Die Unterkunft war modern eingerichtet. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist für Gäste die Ruhe suchen perfekt. Nur wer ängstlich ist (man muss schon ein gutes Stück an einer stark befahrenen Straße laufen, um zum Strand und Supermarkt laufen. Abends ist ein Stück nicht beleuchte) sollte sich einen Mietwagen nehmen, oder mit dem Taxi fahren.

Diamond oasis beautiful

Another stay at the beautiful diamond oasis...we stayed 3 weeks this time.We are in our late 60s and it suits us perfectly, very peaceful quiet area. Beautiful garden with a very well kept pool, best sunloungers nice and strong and a gazebo to sit in if you wanted some shade. The apartment had everything we needed., the bed was nice and comfortable. Barbara our host is such a lovely lady and always at hand if you need to know something. We always hire a car to get around to visit beaches and places of interest. Holetown is a great place to stay at as there is so many places to eat and see there and you can easily travel to the north or south of the island. I wouldn't hesitate to stay at diamond oasis again such a lovely welcome by Barbara. Certainly going to miss you and the tranquility of the area. Honestly a wonderful place to stay its just up the road from limegrove..so easy to find. Book it and you wont be disappointed.

Great Stay

We had a great stay with Barbara at Diamond Oasis. The apartment was exactly as listed. It was clean, comfortable and very welcoming. The pool is a definite asset! We were within walking distance of Holetown which had beautiful beaches and excellent restaurants. Barbara was very accommodating and made us feel at home. The whole experience was wonderful! We had been to Barbados several times in the past but it was the first time for my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. The loved Barbados and hope to be back in the future. I would not hesitate to stay with Barbara again!

Very nice stay

I had a stay at very nice stay at Diamond Oasis and Barbara is a very nice host.The apartment which is located in the basement is large, nicely decorated and the kitchen is equipped with all amenities. The garden with a moderate sized pool is beautifully designed and cannot be seen from the outside. Barbara lives on the ground and the upper floor of the house herself. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk into Holetown with shops, supermarket and the beach. Unfortunately the street you have to walk along has no sidewalks. However you will get used to it and it’s o.k. during daytime, but I wouldn’t walk there in the dark. In summary a good, nice accommodation with a very nice host located just outside of Holetown.

Everything we needed for a wonderful holiday

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Barbara’s property. It has been ideal for us. Within walking distance of Holetown, though you need a torch if walking back at night. There’s no path at the side of the road and only a couple of street lights so you need to make yourselves as visible as possible. It is a very quiet residential area. We always hire a car and there is room for it to be parked outside in the small cul de sac. This is our seventh trip to Barbados and we have stayed in hotels but prefer self catering accommodation and it must have a private pool just for our use. The pool here is beautiful and just what you need to keep cool. It is very nice to sit outside at night too. We haven’t really cooked anything here but the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, including a washer and dryer. Barbara lives above the apartment but is not intrusive in any way and is a very lovely lady if you do want to have a chat. We would happily book again for our next visit and we thank Barbara for her hospitality.

Great family holiday

The pictures don't do the property justice, it is beautiful and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed and the private pool was great. The 15 min walk into town was fine and we never used a taxi, although some might find that easier. Barbara was an excellent host and couldn't do enough for us. From getting us some food in, letting us stay late as we had a late flight and calling us a taxi, Barbara made us feel extremely welcome.
