'So, it’s not a terrible property, but it was rather disappointing that it is so close to the highway and some of the neighbors have a dog that barks at all hours outside, that’s all bearable, but it rained the first morning of our dtat and for the rest of the stay water was coming up through the seams in the flooring when we walked around causing socks and feet to get wet constantly. I informed the owner, and they said they’d have someone look at it, but it seems like something that has been...

'Was very impressed with this home. The amenities that was available worked for our stay. We had everything we needed to cook and even grill out. We had two adults and 3 teenage girls and our dog. No one wanted to leave. Very quit, minus the trains. Property was kept up and was shocked to discover two apple trees on the property. We would definitely book again on our next trip. Definitely a home away from home experience.'

'The house was very clean and had almost everything we needed. It was very comfortable for a one night stay! Some things that would be nice to add include a nightstand on both sides of each bed, as applicable, and lamps! (all lighting was overhead and harsh). There were also no checkout instructions; I had to text the host to ask what we needed to do. A printed/laminated copy would be helpful to have in the house. Overall, we would happily stay here again - even more so if the above suggestions...

'Great hosts, great place. '

'Very nice two bedroom house. Obviously recently remodeled and very clean. Situated in a quiet residential area on a short dead end street with only a few other houses.Within easy driving distance from Beckley Exhibition Mine and other area destinations as well as grocery store and restaurants Definitely will use again when coming to this area.'

'Beautiful property with a homey feeling in a quiet, country-like setting, while having the travelers convenience of a Dollar General store and 2 gas stations less than a mile away. Every room is spacious, including the bathroom. We were especially pleased with the thoughtfulness the owners took into account for younger children, which our granddaughter absolutely loved. The larger deck featured a sturdy tile patio table and 6 chairs, which we took advantage of each day for outdoor breakfast and...

'Great location for a vacation at new river gorge. Has everything you need in this type rental'

'Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back!'

'Very nice clean and a great place to stay '

'The host, Anita, is so sweet. She brought us welcoming treat. I love the stories all over the walls and the little interesting bits about the 50's everywhere. The place is beautiful. We even had a visit from an adorable little trash panda as well as some kitties to hangout with.'
