'This house felt like coming home. The attention to detail is top notch. Appreciated the welcome basket. There's a separate parking space for you to use. House is on a side street, no issues with street noise. You will hear coqui (frogs sounding like birds) at night, which can get quite loud. Don't let that stop you from staying here though, because you won't be able to escape it anywhere in Hilo anyway and this house is really fabulous. Bonus: earplugs are provided for those that want them....

'We enjoyed our stay at Pineapple Loft. It was very clean and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location was a few short blocks from Downtown Hilo with many restaurants and stores near by. The beds were comfortable. If we return back to Hilo, I would welcome the opportunity to stay there again.'

'We visited Hawaii for the first time this summer for my parent's 60th Anniversary. There were 11 of us in total at the house and we could not have made a better choice. There was plenty of space for everyone ( ok sometimes the teenage girls spent too much time in the bathrooms) and the surroundings were perfect. We loved meals on the balcony overlooking the ocean. 'We loved staying at this lovely home. We opened the door and it immediately felt like home. Extremely clean and neat located and walkable to downtown and only a few minutes from the airport and major roads for activities. Very well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Our host, Simone, was lovely and left a welcome note, coffee and cookies along with other thoughtful touches throughout.It was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed our stay very much.'
