'The main door into the apartments was broken, so it couldn’t be locked. This meant that anyone could come into the foyer and stairwell from off the street. This made us feel uncomfortable! The carpet in the foyer and stairwells was filthy, stained and in one part like a dog had scratched to threadbare. The internal walls were not sound proof so you could hear conversations along with other activities from the room next door. One of our party of 5 had a room that was musty from a rock wall...

'On the main road through Aviemore . Not noisy and enough parking off road. Room number one is very small with just enough room to manoeuvre around double bed. Small bathroom with shower. Bathroom all in black with small spotlights. This room was very disappointing as it was so small. Only a kettle and sink, no toaster. Not enough room for two adults and two dogs. There were two chairs at the bottom of the bed to watch TV both in poor condition. Photos of the property do not reflect how small...

'The contact person was rude. Did not respond to email. No hot water. The bedrooms smelled like bad body odor and carpet in both bedrooms were stained and dirty, when we arrived it was cold and we had to figure out how to use heating system. There was no binder or instructions for guests. Do not stay they do not value guests here. Very unfriendly.'

'Location was excellent for walking, site seeing, pubs & restaurants, etc. It was clean & secure. Bed was comfy. Appeared as advertised. Available umbrella was a nice touch. Pantry was very modestly stocked with tea, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar & tin foil & that was all i.e. no oil/cooking spray, etc. Hosts were not terribly responsive. We did not get access instructions until 5:00 pm which was an hour after agreed upon check in time & after 2 contact attempts from us made through the app....
