'We really enjoyed all the renovations to this location— so happy that someone has finally invested in sprucing up accommodations in the UP. Every year we come through this area and have always had to put up with dumpy accommodations because there is nothing nice to pick from. So BRAVO to the Manistique Sands!'

'Check-in was a little difficult. You had to walk up to the main entrance door and call a cell phone number. I called it and it wouldn’t even let me even leave a message. But the person checking you in on this virtual check-in did call me back right away, so they must have caller ID. But it was a pain in the ass cause she was working at another motel as well, it’s just kind of a bad set up for check-in.'
