The house fits perfectly in the mountainous landscape. Each apartment is at its own level and has a separate entrance. Depending on availability, your car takes place in the carport. Lonau is a small idyllic air spa town in the middle of the Harz National Park. Surrounded by numerous hiking trails and beautiful forests, the place is a small paradise for nature lovers. The Lonau waterfall is a beautiful photo motive. Worth seeing the whole family: the display cabinet for auerhoen - the largest in Europe. There is also a ranger station for the Harz National Park, a forest museum, a forest swimming pool with a campsite and a recreational facility for children.

Activities in the area: Enjoy unforgettable days in the breathtaking landscape of the Harz National Park. The region is a true Eldorado for hikers and nature lovers. From Lonau can reach at least four hiking destinations, which are included in the system of stamp points of the Harzer-Wandelpin: De Köte at the Schindelkopf, the Hanskuehnenburg, the Waidmannsruhe mountain hut and the Große tubers. One of the most popular destinations is also the Lonau waterfall, a narrow rock gorge where the water falls through ten meters through a total of ten meters. In Herzberg you should definitely visit the Guelph Castle, it is the largest in Lower Saxony.
