Hemudu Site

The building was built in the 1950s, so that’s the style. The location is perfect, with the lake right in front of your eyes. Rooms are solid built and quiet which is hard to achieve with modern buildings. Once you shut the balcony door you can’t hear the hustle and bustle outside. Breakfast is great with a gorgeous view of the lake. If one is looking for a modern hotel this is not the recommended one. But if one is interested in history and wants to stay at the same hotel a lot of world leaders stayed at, one may feel he/she is reliving the history here. Love the lotuses in the lobby by the way, very summery.
