If you are looking for the ultimate peaceful retreat, you have found your destination. This fantastic 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom located off the beaten path but still only minutes from Helen, is the perfect spot to relax and the enjoy the tranquility of the mountains. With mountain views, a fire pit and a hot tub, take relaxation to the next level. From the living room, enjoy the mountain views out of the 17 ft glass windows or cozy up to a movie on the 50" flat screen TV.

Located just over 2 miles from Unicoi State Park & 5 miles from Helen, it's the perfect location to enjoy everything that North Georgia has to offer while still having the privacy of a cabin in the woods. Minutes from the Old Sautee Store, Lavender House, Sweetwater Coffee & Bernie's Restaurant!

This welcoming cabin boasts a single level open floor plan. You are welcomed into this sweet cabin to a bright kitchen with pine cabinets and granite counter tops that opens up into the living room. The living room has chalet style floor to ceiling windows with views of the famous Mount Yonah. There is a gas fireplace and 50" TV. Off the living room is a large open balcony with outdoor dining, hammock & hot tub. The ultimate relaxation spot. The master bedroom features a custom King size log bed. The guest bedroom is equipped with a full bed and arcade game table.

No matter what the reason is for your trip, you will find something for adults and kids alike. To make the adventure a little sweeter, the road to the cabin is gravel and can be rough at times. 4x4 is recommended.

This quaint Bavarian Alps replica town of Helen, Georgia is set in the Appalachian mountains of North Georgia right on the wine trail & Appalachian trail and offering fun for the whole family. There is an abundance of hiking trails within minutes, a waterpark, tubing (winter and summer), zip lines and ropes courses, horseback riding, picturesque downtown, wineries, mini-golf, gold/gem mining, breweries and more! The cabin is also an excellent place for mountain biking adventures with a paved road & driveway. Come during late September through the end of October to experience Oktoberfest and the changing of the leaves!

Great place

The property was clean and comfortable. The pictures on this site are very accurate. Jessica helped us get there abd and appreciated the suggestions she gave. It really do need 4 wheel drive or an SUV. The last park of getting there is a little rough but worth it for the privacy and the nature. Go for it!

Loved Helen, not this this Cabin

First off, I’d highly recommend a 4x4 for this location. I’m so glad we had that option. It is not just a long driveway up gravel dirt hilly road,but it is local back road living. Especially if you are active like we were and came and went a few times a day. The view was pretty and it was nice and quiet. Hot tub was nice for evening and mornings while under the tall trees. my review for comfort is not as great, the bed was TERRIBLE. So uncomfortable and has zero support. The couch and chair had a HORRID smell to it. We had to drape blankets on it to cover the smell and wash all the clothes we wore while sitting on it. I feel bad for anyone who’d actually have to sleep on it. We had no internet for 3 out of the 4 days, which was a disappointment since we do like to be active it would have been nice to come back and use the Roku it had. It had a DVD player and no dvds offered. I would have watched an old stupid movie. We also were not impressed with the cooking pans. All we did was make eggs on low for 20 min with ghee and the pans were so cheap it still burned. The fan in the bedroom was so awful loud I couldn’t sleep with it on, and there was a broken fan on display in the bedroom I was hoping to use but I guess it’s just for show. Not to mention when we first got there the door was unlocked and little nerve wrecking walking in to an unknown location. Management did respond to this issue but, makes ya wonder why and how it was left that way in the first place.

Always Wonderful!

My husband and I have Stayed at this property several Times. We love it here! We will continue coming here each time we come to Helen. Jessica has always been so easy and so nice to work with. She’s very quick to answer questions And make sure that everything is going well once you get there. I highly recommend this place for families or just couples.

Awesome potential squandered

At first glance the cabin is great, longer it went the sadder it was. 1. They provided dish soap but there's no sponge to use it, not very helpful. 2. We've found food and candy on the floor as well as food all over the kitchen chairs. 3. There are extra pillows (which is great) but no pillowcases for them. Once again, not helpful. They also advertise the cabin sleeps 6 and yet there's no bedding for the sofa bed (fortunately we didn't need it). 4. The listing says bunk beds in the second room.... Its just a queen. Our daughter was heartbroke. 5. The side table and slab coffee table were sticky and the table cloth on the kitchen table was too, with dried food (not to mention from the Dollar store and is older than my daughter). Easy wipe down would have fixed this. There shouldn't be drink rings on tables. 6. THIS IS THE MOST DISSATISFIING part. We were so excited to jump in the hot tub after a long day of walking around town. It's disgusting. There is sand/dirt in every seat and hair in the filter. I've attached pictures. It's mentioned all over the listing and also the cabin that it's drained and SANITIZED for each rental. There's no way this was done. We have a hot tub at our home and understand that nobody is perfect but it wasn't cleaned, if it was, they aren't good at their jobs. We won't be recommending Little Andy to our friends and we won't be back. It was clearly a failure in cleaning and we got no response from the property managers.

Amazing Mountain Getaway

What an incredible cabin in the Mountains! The property was just what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary (and exactly as pictured/described). Everything in and around the house was well maintained, clean, and equipped for a great secluded week in the GA Mountains. Downtown Helen was a short drive away which made it easy to come and go for excitement or relaxation as needed. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Two items I wanted to mention (that we were well prepared for but worth noting!!): • The road to the property is a ~2.2mile one-lane gravel road with steep inclines (at times). Be prepared with a truck/suv/4wd as mentioned. • The fireplace did not work. I’m not ruling out user-error as the guide was a bit confusing - but this was noted in several comments and we were prepared for there to be a decoration-only fireplace. Fire Pit out back is arguable better for what we wanted!! — neither of these had any impact on our trip and we had a GREAT time. Thanks for an amazing week. Would recommend to anyone!!

Great get away cabin.

Very nice cabin with all of the amenities needed to have a great get away. Although it is up in the mountain the drive down into Helen was only minutes and we appreciated that. Loved the area of the cabin.

Winter Retreat

We had a great time, my daughter went straight to the pac man game, while I went to check the amazing view on the porch. The drive up the mountain was fun, a little sketchy at night, but feels like an adventure 😄Jessica was great at communicating any time I had a question.

1.Better than we expected. 2.We stayed for 5 days, the Trash from the previous guests was picked up the day before we left, so was there for basically the whole time we were there. 3. The internet went out on the 1st night, and although it was reported I did not received a response or repairs were done. 4. It is convenient that you bring or have an SUV, or vehicle capable of climbing steep off roads. To get to the cabin is a rough terrain. But it's a unique experience, it is a beautiful cabin, comfortable for 4 people or maybe 5. Has all you need. Just bring food, qt and your clothes, and you are set for a great time.

10 year Anniversary

The cabin is about 2 miles from Helen which was perfect. It was very peaceful, you wouldn’t of thought there was other cabins just down from you. My wife loved the back deck because of the beautiful view. It was a great place for us to celebrate our 10 year anniversary.

Spot on!

Jessica is a superb host! Everything was exactly spot on! Her communication was perfect and the cabin was absolutely amazing. It was myself, my husband, my 18 year old daughter and our 25 lb dog. We stayed 6 nights and drove up and down the mountain in a 2014 Hyundai Sonata- so yes absolutely possible in a car. Lower vehicles maybe not so much but the roads were well kept. My daughter enjoyed the hot tub and we all enjoyed the nostalgic video games. The town of Helen is awesome! Everything is small business which we love and the people were so friendly. Helen does need a specialty pet store though, especially being so pet friendly. Our favorite dining was Bigg Daddy’s. Our favorite coffee shop was Sweetwater (an awesome quiche too). Must try the mountain coaster at least once. Anna Ruby falls is a great place for the entire family. Easy walk with awesome waterfall views. Dukes Creek is a little more challenging and a bit longer. You hike down to the falls and the trail is much more natural terrain. Totally worth the trip if you’re up to it! This was my family’s most favorite mountain vacation to date! Thank you, Jessica for sharing your gorgeous cabin with us and to the other Jessica for being so awesome to us! We appreciate everything! A perfect 10 for us!

Perfect getaway

This place was the perfect place for my wife and I. We came for our anniversary and Oktoberfest and we had an incredible time. The hot tub was incredible and it was nice that the weather changed just in time for us to really enjoy it. T We also enjoyed playing the video games. It took me back to my childhood days. I highly recommend. My kids now want to go the next time we head. Thanks

Our stay was wonderful! We loved the drive there but would recommend 4x4 if you are expecting bad weather. If possible when we are staying in Helen we will be staying here. Loved this cabin and the location of it! There were a few complaints, but the owners were quick to respond and happy to help/fix the issue! We will definitely return.

Nice to get away

We had a good time in Helen. The cabin was nice but definitely could have been cleaner. The king size memory foam mattress has lost its memory and was not comfortable. The bottom bunk bed was very nice. The hot tub was huge but smelled bad but the lightning was nice. Overall it’s was a good stay just maybe fix a few of the issues above to match the listing.
