« I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay here. The room was absolutely charming, with a king bed, jacuzzi tub, and a balcony with the spectacular river view. The complimentary breakfast served was a full, real country breakfast and delicious. Every staff member I met was more than gracious, kind, and hospitable-- each of them made my visit even more of a delight. « Very comfortable hotel in a great country town. Loved it! Room was lovely, staff helpful. Walking distance to main town. Breakfast was the best we have had over 3 recent hotel stays. We really appreciated the effort to reduce waste with real plates/bowls etc, cutlery and recycling. Would stay again. »

« We always enjoy our stay here. Imani, the front desk clerk, is such a delight to talk with. The mattresses are getting a little saggy, but the historic charm and comfort of the hotel is always on point. We appreciate being able to walk to restaurants and the convenient locations to drive to whatever we need. We were bummed the Swamp Fox closed an hour earlier than advertised, though. »

« James checked us in. He is full of personality, hospitality and grace. The hotel is spectacular. Great personal touches like essential oils, a record player and a ring holder by the sink in the room. There is a rain shower head as well as a pull down handle shower head. The hotel smells fantastic. The room is large and the bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. »
