« Orchid Harbor is a charming house located in one of Maine’s beautiful coastal areas. There was lots of room inside and out for our use. It was very comfortably furnished and had many touches that harkened back to days gone by. (I discovered a stack of old magazines, many of which were Women’s Day and were published in the 1940s and 50s and cost a whopping 2 cents!) The spacious lawn in front was right on the edge of the water and with picnic tables and plenty of chairs provided, was a wonderful...

« The location and views from the cottage are quintessential coastal Maine. Small community with lobster pound and Maine Oyster Company across the street. John is a welcoming host and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay. The cottage is great for 2 people, equipped with the basics and has a great deck to enjoy the views. Planning to return next year. Great spot! »

« We had a wedding in town which was about 3 miles away- easy drive. The place was clean but rustic. Pet friendly which was very important to us. John communicated well/ a really beautiful spot waking up to beautiful views! »

« The smell of the property was quite unpleasant. It had a urine smell. Large black ants alive and dead were in the living area and kitchen. The air unit in the bedroom was extremely loud. The dishwasher was extremely loud also. We opted the leave after one night. »

It is more a 5 star hotel feel with more amenities like a full kitchen, tv/viewing room, heated floors in bathroom, etc. The host Jared asked and provided desired coffee, wine, and a wine/cheese. High-end finishing/furnishings throughout property. Great location - near town, beaches, etc. i highly recommend for a unique, quality stay. Thank you Jared for a great stay. »
