'The hotel itself, as well as our guest room, was spotless! This was a prime location...super convenient to the City Market and for shopping on King Street. The restaurant, Peninsula Grill, was amazing!'

'Beautiful, very large room (which is more like an apartment than a hotel bedroom). Spotlessly clean and very quiet. Really convenient location. Best of all, great staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 nights at this top hotel.'

'The room and bath were clean and comfortable. The spa tub was a bonus we didn't expect. Bed was very comfortable. The small balcony was nice and cozy for 2. Brrakfast was delicious! And we were pleasantly surprised with afternoon cocktail hour. Walking distance to the beach and pier was great. '

'Very clean, staff was amazing, and this will be our hotel of choice every year! There is only one thing we disliked. There was a very strong, cologne type air freshener that hits you in the face when you open the door to the room. After being in there awhile, it fades. But it’s there every time you enter which is why we thought air freshener but didn’t see a physical air freshener. '

'This affordable hotel is about 20 mins drive from downtown Charleston. Staff is helpful and nice. We booked for 5 persons, but we had to make the sofabed ourselves. Also there were only towels provided for 4. When we asked, it was no problem and got them. Breakfast is good, but the line for waffles was long and is at the start of the buffet. Maybe move the waffle station to the end and get an extra waffle iron would help a lot. '

'This is a very sweet place, don’t expect your bed made every day (your mother doesn’t work here!) but there is little that you will be left wanting. You have a microwave a cute little refrigerator, comfy bed and towels. Breakfast is plenty of choices and greasy every morning. They have beach towels and sand toys for the kids. Sweet ladies that run the place. We will definitely be visiting again!'
