« You cannot go wrong staying at Manny’s place. It is a short walk to the beach, which has great views and short drive to most vineyards and restaurants. The property itself is beautiful, and there is a private entrance to the rental, which is very roomy, immaculate, and you get a welcome bottle of local wine and hopefully you get Amal’s cookies and chocolate. As mentioned in other reviews, Manny is unintrusive, but very approachable, he is a great source of information as to the best restaurants...

« This was the perfect, in town place to stay for the two of us. Located on a quiet street of well-maintained homes, and with parking right outside, it was a short 1-1/2 block walk to all the shops, restaurants, ferry, docks, etc. The apt is small, but clean and tidy, sun-filled and air-conditioned. We loved staying here and will again in the future. »

« First the positives, it was clean and it had everything needed for us. It was just two of us, I think any more than 2 two and it would be small. We were in town for the holiday and did not spend a lot of time in the rental. It was well equipped and safe. As others have said, I didn't realize it was a basement apartment until we arrived and I looked closely at the listing. I tried to enter using the front door and the tenant upstairs was kind enough to redirect me. Because it is a basement...

« I was really looking forward to staying here. Unfortunately I was surprised when we entered the listing to find, “pest repellant” plugs in more than one outlet, multiple traps set out in virtually every corner. The surfaces of the property like countertops, etc were clean. One thing I’ve never experienced before was that the property owners personal belongings were still in the property such as in the fridge and personal toiletries in the shower. Also, they require you to take the garbage out...

« Celebrated the holidays with my grown children to be near my dad and brother. The house is lovely. We had a wonderful time. My daughter suggested we come back in the summertime to take advantage of the amenities - beautiful pool and nearby beaches. Highly recommend!!! »
