Blokhutten in Groton

'This house/cabin was absolutely fabulous! Everything was squeaky clean and the solar energy through the windows was wonderful. The in floor heating and energy efficiency made the cool outside tolerable. The view of the Fall foliage and surrounding gardens were heavenly. The hosts were very responsive to our requests and encouraged us to self tour the farm: healthy goats, chickens, pigs and cows; even an on-site store to purchase fresh meat, vegetables and other delectable. I would highly...

'100% recommend this perfect cabin nestled in the woods. It just doesn’t get more peaceful and tranquil than this. I just wish we could have stayed longer!'

'We did not find the cabin emaculate as stated. Cob webs upstairs on the beams, light fixtures dusty, mold on the dryer seal and futon cover on the main floor looks to be dirty. There is a fowl smell coming from the basement from a old hot tub. I slept on the futon upstairs and needless to say for a 66 yr old women that was my bad but it is worn out. We could not get it folded back up before we left. The shade upstairs is missing and hanging slats so it allowed the light to shine in. As far...

'The cabin was clean, well laid out and centrally located for our needs. The convenience of the general store was great. We had a couple of small things (such as the toilet paper holder not being attached well to the wall), but that is all a part of working out the initial bugs. Overall a great property that we would love to return to.'

'It was ok'

'Host is great!'

'What an amazing place! Solo travelled to the mountains and everything was so accessible from this location. The cabin was cozy and I loved cooling off in the river all hours of the day. Host was extremely kind and welcoming when I arrived. I will definitely be back!'

'This property was perfect for a nice getaway with my wife. We were 25-30 minutes from the nearest town and had to drive down the beautiful road it’s located on to get there. We will absolutely be back for future getaways as well as family vacations! We had a question on our trip and asked the host in the chat and received a proper response within 10 minutes.'
