'This was the second year our extended family gathered for a long weekend together. This house is comfortable, spacious, and very well appointed. We bring our boat so there is fishing for the fishermen, tubing for the kids, swimming off the dock, plenty of inside room for games and cards and a big screen to watch the Astros as a family like when we were kids! 'This was our second time staying at this property and we will be back again. The owners are great as is the property. It's a beautiful relaxing home. I love sitting on the porch watching the kids swim and fish. This is one of my kids favorite places to go. They are already asking when we can go back! '

'We cannot say enough about how perfect The Lakehouse was for us. We had a group of Lady Anglers at Lake Limestone for a Women’s Bass Tour Tournament. The house was perfectly located near the marina, had enough space for the eight of us, the back porch was delightful, and the dock was amazing. We even had enough parking for four trucks with boats. 'Overall a very nice little place. It is right in front and beside houses so it’s not as secluded as it seems online. It states that it sleeps 3, a queen bed and a futon, however unless it’s a kid that is your 3rd guest, I’d not recommend this place as the futon is small. Everything else was great and they thought of lots of small details. '

'We rented the boathouse for our family for my daughter’s graduation from Baylor. It was perfect because it’s close enough to Waco but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our family enjoys fishing and camping, so this location was perfect!! There are so many things to do at the ranch, everyone was entertained all weekend. The staff was so helpful and friendly!'

'Upon Friday arrival, entered gate and the brick walk to the front door was covered in sand and dirt. To the left of the front door on the porch sat a styrofoam cooler, lid to the side and a bag of garbage in it. Inside the house seemed reasonably clean but by the time we visited each room we had killed two scorpions.
