Het was een prima accommodatie alleen wij hadden een verouderde kamer met een doucheruimte waar je je niet eens in kon omkeren. Daar moet je echt geen dik persoon in zetten. Ik moet er wel bij zeggen dat het personeel van het hotel een andere kamer voor ons wilde zoeken maar wij hebben daar zelf nee op gezegd.

Mooi hotel met een prachtig uitzicht
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in hotel amathus ;mooi hotel niet ver van rhodos ,gemakkeliik bereikbaar, bus stopt vlak voor hotel .Heel vriendelijk personeel ,hotel ligt ook aan de zee ,met ondergrondse tunnel bij het hotel gemakkelijk te bereiken .Het onbijt was heerlijk ,heel veel keuze en met een prachtig uitzicht op zee, want het restaurant is namelijk op de 10 de verdieping.Als ik misschien één minpuntje moet geven ,dan vind ik de desserts s'avonds wat minder .

Beste hotel in Rhodos!
Top service van begin tot einde - er werkt een Nederlandstalige personeelslid waar je terecht kan met al jouw vragen. Kamers zijn super verzorgd en we kregen een upgrade van kamer. Van standaardkamer naar Junior Suite, een leuke verrassing! Zeker een aanrader als je Rhodos wilt bezoeken.

We zijn net terug van Rhodos. We hebben 4 dagen verbleven in het Amathus hotel. Het was zalig. Ze zien ons daar zeker nog eens terug! Het hotel heeft een vlaming (Filip) in dienst, speciaal om de Nederlandstalige klanten te verwelkomen. Hij beantwoordt de nodige vragen en geeft een rondleiding op het complex. Het personeel is ontwapenend vriendelijk (zowel aan de receptie, bar, in het winkeltje, de spa,de poetsvrouwen.....) en de meeste spreken heel goed Engels. Dranken worden aan tafel geserveerd en in het restaurant word je begeleid naar jouw tafel. Het ontbijt is zalig...er is zoveel keuze dat je ogen te kort komt en het is allemaal lekker. Het middageten wordt geserveerd buiten aan het zwembad. Het avondmaal is opnieuw in het restaurant. Het eten was steeds lekker en licht verteerbaar. Er wordt ook gedacht aan vegetariërs. Er is ook een heel mooie spa aan het hotel. Voor 15 euro per persoon heb je een ganse dag toegang tot hamam, sauna, bubbelbad,... Het hotel is goed gelegen. Voor het hotel is er een bushalte naar het stadcentrum (2,20 euro voor een ticket dat je kan kopen in het winkeltje van het hotel). Je kan ook voor het hotel voor dezelfde prijs een bus nemen naar de luchthaven. Een taxi van/naar de luchthaven kost een 17 euro per rit. Het hotel werkt niet met een bandjessysteem maar telkens je een drankje bestelt, moet je jouw kamernummer zetten en nadien krijg je een factuur die je moet signeren. Op de menukaart staan de dranken die inbegrepen zijn bij de ALL-INN aangeduid met PP. De prijzen van de dranken kan je vergelijken met bij ons, dus als je een ALL-in kan nemen, zeker doen!

Groot hotel met erg vriendelijk personeel. We hadden een kamer met een zeer kleine douche,maar bij navraag aan de receptie over een kamer was met een wat grotere badkamer werd dit gelijk serieus genomen en kregen we een andere kamer met ligbad.

Overall great hotel and room. We got room service to the room and staff asked up to go and get out drinks from the bar (our room floor 3 and bar floor 10) which wasn't an option as we were in our gowns which is why we were calling room service, this has meant i had to lower the staff score.

Since it is the beginning of the off season, there was plenty of parking. The room was great, check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and very responsive to any and all of our requests.

It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel - it is a three, and there are problems every step of the way and it really wasn't enjoyable. The room was opposite lifts so lots of chat, housekeepers shouting and furniture being moved around. Balcony light didn't work. The bathroom had no ventilation so condensation everywhere, and flooded floor. Housekeeping gave no toilet roll and didn't come everyday. Products out of date. They made the bed and left everything else.I got two single beds pushed together. And the middle where they joined was uncomfortable - this is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Jacuzzi wasn't working, receptionist said 'that's the pressure, it is what it is'. I then called her a second time she said yeah it's not working. Towel system insane. Has to wait in a 20 min queue everyday for food, service bad. I informed there was a piegon in the buffet and they laughed. Poor food labelling, marked veggie when it was meat. Lack of information about facilities and classes. I wanted to give feedback but was refused an email address. Adult pool area quiet except for lifeguard talking loud on his phone. Sunbeds on beach and by the other pool uncomfortable, and towels don't cover the bed. Generally staff incredibly rude, and dinner service was bad. Waiting for drinks, arriving after I finished my meal. They had someone in a suit to show you to a table and then that's it, completely ignored. It took them 25 minutes one night to bring a card machine.

összességében kiváló szálloda
Nagyon figyelmes személyzet, profi hozzáállás, a konyha minősége szuper (bár az ebédválaszték olykor az 5 csillaghoz képest kicsit szűkös volt). Az all inclusive ellátásnál furcsa volt, hogy karszalag helyett mindig be kellett mondani a szobaszámomat és nem volt önkiszolgáló lehetőség üdítőital vagy ásványvíz beszerzésére. A konditeremben 1-2 eszköz még elférne. A takarítás mindig hibátlan volt. Az ablak hangszigetelése kiemelkedő, a központi klíma a legjobb, amit eddig szállodában valaha is kipróbáltam. A medencék tiszták és nagyon kellemesek, a tengerpart megközelítése ötletesen (aluljáróval) megoldott.

The property and rooms were very nice with lots of pools and areas to relax. The bar bits menu could have had a few more items. When restaurants at the property were closed it was better to go through room service menu instead of the bar bites menu for food. Also the pools closed too early. July is very hot and the sun goes down after 8pm. It would been nice to have at least one pool open till 9pm. There were a few times we wanted to use the pool after 7pm but were unable to since they were closed. The really nice beaches required a 25 to 1 hour drive from the property so we had to rent a car. The beach by the property was not very nice.

Our first time to Greece and safe to say we absolutely loved it. The hotel and staff were friendly and professional the only thing that let them down was their lack of cleaning up the neverending bird muck on the balcony. We would definitely return to the same property though.

The view of the room is wonderful. It is more like a 4-star than a 5-star. The staff service was mixed, some were excellent and hospitable, while some were rude. The lady in the shop for bus tickets was especially rude, should not be in service business. The taverna at the 11F next to the pool offers excellent food, music, and overlooking the ocean with sunset. The service was excellent, the best in this island. This taverna is must-go if one is staying in this hotel.

Klassisches Spa und Resort Hotel, was schon beim Ankommen in der Lobby einen einladenden Charme versprüht. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und erkundigt sich nach einem. Das macht aus dem Aufenthalt etwas besonderes. Danke dafür! Die Speisenauswahl ist wunderbar und es schmeckte stets gut. Die Poolanlagen außen sind gepflegt und laden zum Hoteltag ein. Der Strand ist super angeschlossen, es war sauber und es gab einen Parkplatz, auf dem immer etwas frei war (Nebensaison). Betten waren bequem und groß und die Zimmer ausreichend ausgestattet und bemessen. Wir haben das Hotel als sehr familienfreundlich wahrgenommen und unser Kleiner hatte eine fantastische Zeit. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen!

This isn't a bad hotel, but its definitely not a 5 star one!! There were some plus points: The food was great, especially dinner. The pool on the 11th floor was nice Our room was spacious and modern. The patio was huge with a lovely view Now the bad stuff: The staff! There were a few exceptions, like the lovely lady serving pool drinks on the 11th floor, and some of the waiting staff in the main restaurant, but overall we found the staff quite unfriendly and unhelpful. Most of the time we felt that they really couldn't care less. This was especially true with reception Housekeeping was pretty poor. Our beds were made and towels changed, but our room was not cleaned. The floors were really dusty and full of hair. Under the bed and sofa were very bad. They didn't remove dirty glasses and cutlery and only replaced (some) toiletries after 4 days. Ridiculous system to collect/return pool towels! Can only be done at the spa at certain times, no use for those using the 11th floor pool or anyone wanting a swim before 10am. Most people used their own Our stay included 2 a la carte meals. We tried to book the nicer restaurant in advance but were told no. But there were no dinner slots left when we arrived. Bit of a con! No pedestrian access to the bus stop into town, you walk on the road which is so dangerous on the dark Really loud club music at the main pool - more suitable for a club 18-30 hotel! The view would have been okay if not for a large purple flood light from the hotels outdoor restaurant pointed into my window. I had to close the curtains to block the floodlight, so the view I paid extra money for was not visible. Further, the loud music from the hotels outdoor restaurant was audible in my room through late into the evening. I requested a high floor room in my reservation. I was assigned to a room two floors from the bottom. Reservation requests are not honored. There are better options for the price point.
