'The property was as advertised and the location was very convenient by car to the D-Day history offered by the area. We were surprised by the cleaning fee given if you are not in a position to spend half a day scrubbing down the facility. Communications with the owner were in French and required us to electronically translate everything. Do know that the only bathroom is down a quite narrow and winding staircase and that both bedrooms are upstairs'

"Bij aankomst was onze kamer nog niet schoon, na een half uur konden we inchecken. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijk zwembad en de zee op loopafstand. Ontbijt buffet was prima Appartement was ruim, alles aanwezig in de keuken, fijn zitje buiten."

"Warm welcome in a picturesque hotel. Personnel was very friendly, spoke English and Dutch. The room itself was very nice. Bathroom was small, but we knew from pictures in advance. The room was clean and the bed was very good. The only real negative was the lack of airco (which we also knew in advance). Breakfast was very good. Products were high quality and tasteful. It’s not a gigantic buffet, as in large hotels, but that’s also fine. It’s quality over quantity. You can sit outside and enjoy the meal. There is no lunch or dinner, which is a negative because the village has little quality eating establishments. Most of them are fries and burgers, or mussels. If that’s not your thing, you are obliged to go to Bayeux. The pool is also very nice. There could be a bit more beds next to the pool, when it’s good weather they are all taken. There is also a cosy bar, where you can drink something and relax. A tip is to hire somebody for the bar or keep somebody on it for the whole night. It felt like we always needed to call for somebody and the bar was often unoccupied. Overall we had a great stay and would love to come again."

"Room was clean. Really kind owner who gave some tips and instructions. We went in May, the town is a bit sleepy but perfect for visiting the ww2 highlights. The bakery in town is excellent."
