« The Paddler's Retreat is REALLY out of the way. We enjoyed our stay however, people need to understand that all services are limited. Due to Covid there is only a very limited breakfast, mostly cold. If you want tea, you will need to use the microwave. The range is not available. Furthermore, the options are more limited for dinner. There is only a gas station / limited eatery that stop serving at 6:30pm. The little town, Confluence is about 5 miles away. « Very nicely appointed rooms, spacious common areas, very clean bathrooms, copious breakfast, friendly staff. We were able to use the refrigerator and even got to use an ice pack for our aching legs. A wonderful place to recharge after a day of cycling! The owner gave us a great restaurant recommendation. Overall there was a very friendly vibe and we enjoyed chatting with other guests while relaxing on the porch. »
