The bathroom was clean and I was happy to find out that it had lights. It was close to town but felt like it was miles away. I would definitely recommend staying here. »

« Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! « We really enjoyed our stay at this off-grid cabin. We chose it because it was close to some hikes that we wanted to do. We made foil dinner packets to cook over the fire pit, and loved sitting outside looking at the stars. There was a chance of seeing the Northern Lights, but we never saw any. The bed in the loft and the futon were very comfortable and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm.
