The hotel was very close to good transport links. There’s also some lovely places to eat in the Mount Florida area which is about 10 minutes walk away.
Upon arrival, we weren’t able to check in a minute earlier so find something to do until 2:30pm if you are early.
When we checked in we were given a room on the top floor. At first glance it was adequate for what we had paid. Soon realised some marks on the bedding and towels. We then discovered the tv did not work. The normal channels could not receive signal and we were too far away from the WiFi to use the smart features. After reporting this, someone came to try and fix this but it is obviously an issue that is ongoing (judging by other reviews).
As we had a long day travelling, we just wanted to relax for the evening and watch some tv. They were very good to give us another room which was clearly a more expensive room, which we were very grateful for. I guess we were lucky they had another room available.
Overall a pleasant stay and suitable for what we needed.
