« Our 3rd visit - to relax and enjoy the lake front getaway. How often can you make everybody happy? Smiles from the teenager (Kayak and swim is next, no time to text). Smiles from the wife (read/take in the rays/sun), Smiles from the dog (walks/room to run). Heck even dad was caught smiling (coffee/and a view, eve on the dock w a brew)…. »

« We stayed at the Belfair Chalet in June of 2024 for my mom’s birthday with a few friends. It was charming and clean. We had all the kitchen basics we needed to cook a pasta dish and make salad! The layout was perfect for our crafting and spa night. We also enjoyed the proximity to the Mosquito Fleet winery - 5 min drive? Glad we booked this place! »

« Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit. »

« Everything was as expected and more! There was two days of shrimp fishing and a fisherman who had spoken to us brought us a huge bag of 5-7” shrimp for our enjoyment. We watched two orcas playing for hours from the front porch picnic table while having morning coffee! There were several outlets nearby to the Olympic Park and we saw a herd of Roosevelt Elk at the Jefferson wildlife reserve. Most of all, our hosts kindness and respect plus the cute touches in the cabin really eclipsed the natural...

« Thank you for sharing your home! If you’re looking for a quaint vintage cabin on the water, this is it! It rained the weekend we were there, but it made for a cozy relaxing stay in the beach cabin. It has all the necessities for cooking, and the hot tub was a bonus. Our host was very responsive and accommodating with our check-in/out needs. I would definitely recommend staying here to get away from it all! »

« My wife and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate her birthday. Everything was amazing -- a beautiful location right on the water, oysters were plentiful, the hot tub was amazing and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back!! »

« This house seriously needs improvement. The shower curtain was completely busted, so when we took a shower, water went everywhere. Also, the house has so little venting and so much moisture trapped into the carpets, etc, that if the windows are shut, there is significant condensation on the windows. There is a musty smell, and the beds are very uncomfortable. That said, the location is IDEAL, the beach and swimming pool are amazing, and the place is dog-friendly - all of which are serious...

« Really enjoyed our stay on the island. Comfortable place. Liked having a choice of bedrooms (up or downstairs), and having two bathrooms. We made good use of the kayaks everyday, even when it rained one day. It was difficult to find all the kayak choices since many of the marking on the kayaks are wearing off. We also noted that the one garbage can outside was full when we arrived nd we really struggled to put our own trash in it the we left. It seems it should have been empty when we arrived....

« Really nice cozy getaway for a few days. Could easily fit 2 couples or a larger family. No issues with internet even with surprise snow in February or any power issues. Place heats up fast with a small fire which I recommend! Comfortable environment, enjoyed the lack of clutter and the clean and simple, modern setup. »

« We enjoyed the most wonderful week at the Huckleberry Cabin. We love the peaceful surroundings, the porch swing, the hammocks, the hot tub nestled in a lovely garden, the many beautiful artistic touches on the property. We were able to really relax. The hosts provided everything we needed to make a fire in the fire pit, so we relaxed by the fire and ate our messy, delicious S'mores. We loved the sandwiches and ice cream at the nearby Olympic Bakery. Each day we found a beautiful new place to go...

« The house was in a beautiful location and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The ad gives the impression that the house is a beach front property but the beach is shared with other houses on the street. Everyone in the neighborhood was welcoming and nice. It was great to have a fenced in yard for the dogs, no holes or ways to escape. I gave four stars for cleanliness because everything at eye level and below was clean but there was a lot of cobwebs and dust in higher surfaces. It...

« We decided to try a boat instead of a hotel for our stay in Gig Harbor. What a fabulous experience it was. The boat was a classic wood hull and interior, beautifully restored, with everything working perfect. Michelle was an amazing host, extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. The setting in Gig harbor was spectacular, views, wildlife....lot's of stuff to do..and within walking distance to the historic downtown waterfront area. HIGHLY recommend you give one of their 3 boats a try!! »
