That is a ok hotel, the staff also is ok. My checking was really strange, I think the person in front desk was having a bad day. The rooms smell good, there is a good water pressure in the shower, the property is in a very good place in the center of everything but the hotel needs a facelift.
I love how they have a free trolly to take you DT. Parking lot was huge for cars. Plenty of food options. Restaurant, bar, breakfast cafe, food shop at the pool. They even have a dog area for your pets. Staff was friendly and overall no complaints. Would definitely stay here again and recommend!!
Do not leave food or beverages in your vehicla. Air out your vehicle if food was in it. This area has bear visits. Beautiful to see though. Bad for your vehicle if you dont follow the rules.
Access to the free trolley was the best part since parking in town is impossible. The only thing I wish they had was an outdoor pool area or a pool area for adults. It was all geared towards small children, which our kids enjoyed but we were not able to enjoy it with them.
Staff was very helpful and excellent customer service. Rooms were decent size with older looking sets, but I was assigned a handicap room even after saying I am not handicap. The balcony has lots of water dripping off the Ac unit. The coffee in the room could be replaced by better and modern machines. Each day parking fee is $15
Parking fees are criminally expensive. Whoever in your management thought that charge was necessary should be fired immediately. Immediately puts your hotel at the bottom of the barrel. Too many competitors with better options.
It's nice property, not as convenient as staying at a property right in town. The only real negative is the food and drink prices on property are very high and they won't allow you to bring your own beverages down to the pool or outside to the fire pit
Late checkout was super helpful, and the hotel was better than expected. It is not really walkable from the main drag though. We thought we'd use the trolley, but instead we ended up driving down and parking. We found a central lot for $15, so it worked out fine. Pro tip, with the noon checkout, you have plenty of time to do Anakeesta when it opens at 9 and still make it back to pack up.
