Bear View is perfectly located just minutes from the action of downtown Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Our guests observe stunning views of downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park while enjoying all the comforts of home.

The cabin is conveniently located in close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all of the major attractions of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville; less than 10 minutes from restaurants, rides, shops, colorful fountains, a ferris wheel, and live music at newest attraction center, The Island in Pigeon Forge. Just a couple of miles from the cabin and you’re right in the heart of the attractions, entertainment, shopping, and a wide range of dining selections on the main parkway in Gatlinburg. The Pigeon Forge parkway is just 20 minutes from the cabin and offers fun for all ages with go-carting, in-door laser tag, and video gaming arcades for the kids; and tons of shops offering quilts, antiques, and a wide range of local shops with arts, crafts, and collectibles that make the days long and the stories even better. When evening falls, there are numerous options for entertainment from musicals, to magic, to shindigs and down home country fun

Cabin Layout & Comforts With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, three levels, and an open main floor layout, Bear View cabin will comfortably accommodate the entire family. Each of the 3 levels provides you with options to meet the wishes of everyone in your family. Vaulted ceilings in the living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen. King bedroom suite on the main entry level. Queen bedroom suite upstairs and a queen bedroom suite on the lower level. Hot tub is located on the lower level deck.

Upstairs is a large open loft area with a recreation room with a pool table that yields views that offer numerous distractions to the game. . The cabin is Wi-Fi enabled throughout, so bring your laptop and you can stay “connected”, if the urge hits you.

Roads are paved and well maintained to the cabin however we are in the mountains and in the event of snow you will need a 4 wheel drive.

It was a really nice cabin other than the upstairs bed. It was very wobbly and noisy due to the wobble. Other than that, and the size of parking, everything was as it said and beautiful. I would definitely stay again.
My last morning view was amazing.
The three bears stayed with us every day until the end of our stay. 🥰

Lovely house up in the mountain! There was plenty of space for all of us to enjoy our time in Gatlinburg. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the screened in room and looking out at the Mountain View. It was a very short drive to the park and down town. Great stay overall. Be prepared though, the drive up the mountain is an epic switch back! Worth it the trek up for sure.

Great access to GSMNP and Gatlinburg

We very much enjoyed our stay at the property. It accommodated us quite well. The one consideration is that the roads in the neighborhood are quite winding and narrow and we found them a challenge to navigate at times. Also, people need to be aware that they should take the advice about bears quite seriously and keep car doors locked when they are not occupied.

Excellent view!!!

We loved our stay (once my husband adjusted to the drive up the mountain)!!! The house was comfortable and clean! Used the hot tub once(also clean). The view was absolutely awesome! We did see a Momma bear and her two cubs coming back one evening...we kept our distance and so did they. We reached out to the owner a couple of times and they responded right away. I would definitely recommend this place (just prepare for a curvy, narrow, hilly drive up to the house)!!!

It was a great place for a family stay. We even saw bears there in the front and backyard!! One even got into our car overnight. It left the doors open and muddied foot prints everywhere but no damage. What an experience!! It was fun!! It was a mother and 2 babies!!

On The Mountain

Love that there was no steep driveway to access like so many other homes we saw. Clean and updated. Loved the view and the quiet. Owner was quick to respond to questions.

It is an old house with a nice updated kitchen. Cons: AC is very noisy in the lower level bedroom and does not ventilate the upper level as well as the other floors. The grill on the front porch is rusty and dirty. The shower in the upper level bathroom smells moldy and the rooms fan does not work properly. As for the road, it has lots of steep hills and turns and is very difficult to navigate at night or in rainy/foggy conditions.Pros: Nice mountain view but partially obstructed by trees. The hottub is a plus! It was clean and comfortable. The pool table was so much fun to use too! The couches in the living room and the beds in the bedrooms were very comfortable and clean.Thank you for hosting us!
