Do not book here!!
We got to the property and no one was there to check us in. Called and messaged the host with no answer. There is a restaurant attached to the property where we found someone to talk to. I was then told by a âproperty managerâ that all the rooms were booked. Note, I had a reservation number, had received multiple emails confirming my stay. So I Asked the manger to call the host for meâŠhe picked up. They had my reservation but ultimately had double booked the room. He hung up on me. No apology or anything. Another lady came up to me and blamed it on VRBO saying the connection between the property and VRBO was âbadâ and there was nothing they could do since the hotel was booked. I was told I needed to contact VRBO for a refund. Very frustrated. I was left with no where to stay. With 3 young children. The whole city was booked. Bear lake is a popular destination in the summer. We were staying for a family reunion and the closest available hotel was an hour away. We ended up driving the 2.5 hours back home. Never had an experience like this. Horrible communication and management of property. Also, While I was looking for other properties to stay at, this one came up as available for that night. What a joke. I want all my money back!!
