'Excellent location to Cal Poly Humboldt. As well as stores and restaurants in McKinleyville. Nice amenities.Very dog friendly, they even had dog poop bags, such a nice touch. We could park in the garage, which we loved. Definitely will stay here again.'

'I injured my knee the evening before I was to drive up to King Salmon, so was unable to enjoy Shell Cottage, and too late for any refund! I had stayed previously however, and it was lovely; hence my desire to return.'

'We loved our stay at this vacation rental! It was comfortable, quirky in the best way, clean, and close to everything we needed. The home was well-stocked with supplies and had everything we could possibly need—such a thoughtful touch that made our stay even easier. We especially loved being near Sequoia Park Zoo and the beautiful redwood-filled park next to it. 'Property was ideally located for Avenue of Giants, Fern Canyon, and the Redwood Skywalk. Tucked away on the outskirts of Eureka (has everything you need or want). '

'The entire family just loved the stay at your lovely home! If we’re ever back in the area, we will definitely want to stay there. I have never been in such a cool house like this one. Unlike anywhere we have ever stayed. Everything was so nice and tidy and lots of amenities. Room for all five of us and two dogs. We really, really loved it!!! Magical was a good word for it.'

'At first if ypuvhqve high expectatations, the feont door and the duat will confuse you. Ut once you walk around eapecially once you teaxh the third floor youctealize you are in paradise. Probably the best spot in ahelter cove. I was convinced i was going to move there forever but with this house being my home. Woould live to aray again if prices arent so high...its not worth 800 a night... i dont anything is. But it was a great experience for one going through spiritual crisis. 400 is still too...

'We ran out of coffee filters and dishwasher soap. There was no pepper in pepper shaker or on shelf. It would have been nice to have oil be a staple. Primary bathroom ran out of conditioner. Just a suggestion, but it would have been nice to have a couple of throw blankets so we could snuggled in them and used less heat. '
