'Two bedrooms for family and loft upstairs for grandad. Modern bathrooms, washer/dryer, even a drying rack for damp clothes. Stores/ pharmacy within walking. Short drive to city center. Parking spot. '

'This was a beautiful, modern home! Every amenity was conveniently available (kitchen supplies, linens, hair dryer). It was clean and bright with new appliances and a beautiful large TV. The wifi access was great. We had plenty of parking. The location was incredibly convenient to public transit, local shops, etc. The owner left clear written directions and was ready to reach when I had quick questions.'

'It was our second visit to Galway, and without question, our most memorable. This location had a lot to do with our enjoyment. It was right on the edge of the vibrant downtown, in a gorgeous neighborhood setting, easily situated for wonderful walks on the Salt Hill Promenade. The hosts (Liz & family) as well as Peter (Property Manager) were extremely gracious and welcoming. It was an amazing experience. We would definitely look to stay there again. '

'The laundry room was dirty. There were no instructions for using the stove, oven, water heater. No coffee maker and the kettle was corroded. The downstairs bathroom smelled awful. The beds were very uncomfortable. We tried to get an Uber but they refused to come to this address. The advertising of this house gave false expectations. The owners left a message that they needed to send an electrician to fix the dining area light. No one ever came so we had no light. '

'Really clean apartment and the rooms were all lovely with a good bit of space in every bedroom. Nice big clean apartment. The staff were brilliant, easy to get in touch with and super helpful. '

'Ariana is enthusiastic and welcoming. Her advice led me to Murrooghtoohy for a beautiful view in the Barren. She provided detailed information ahead of time. One suggestion. Her directions indicated that her house was the second one past the church; the distance past the first house is hundreds of yards, so keep going even though it looks like you might have missed it. I recommend staying here. '

'Super convenient location right across from the train and bus station and a 10 minute walk to restaurants and town center where the tour buses pick you up. I would suggest being more clear in the description that this is not a hotel, but student housing that is temporarily empty for the summer break. '

'Very well kept, only thing would be to have a little more instruction book on operating instructions for appliances. TV we weren’t sure what was included and if there was live TV or if you had to stream everything, or login into your own streaming programmes such as Netflix’s. Other than that very nice stay.'

'We enjoyed sharing an apartment, with use of a full kitchen, a lounge and clean modern bedrooms. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. '

'Good location in Salthill. 20 minute walk to Latin Quarter. Had a few issues with wifi, but only a minor inconvenience and host was responsive. Washer/dryer is small, but worked well. Nice to have covered parking. '

"The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because some idiot smoked in his room, it took quite long before it was taken care of. Besides that, fantastic week, fantastic stay. "
