'Our family was taking a cruise out of Galveston and this property is literally two blocks away from the cruise terminal so it was great to spend the previous night in old town Galveston very nice and then the next morning we just walked to our terminal for the cruise line, everyone was very helpful. Very nice. The rooms were great. The breakfast was incredible. Highly recommend recommended.'

Joellyn was a fabulous host; she served delicious breakfast and offered several tips/ recommendations for activities around the island. 'Clearly a recent building or very well renovated given the paint smell when entering the room (wich was noticeable but gone very quickly when turning on the airconditioning). Very light and modern setting with friendly and helpful staff. Not directly to the beach so you’re located at a more quiet place. 'We had a girls weekend at the Hotel Galvez and wanted nothing more than to lay by the pool and relax. The hotel was very clean and the front desk and bellman were amazing. Loved the bar staff as well- very friendly and accommodating The pool bar was not a great part of our stay. All of them team congregated at the bar talking and on their phones.
